MikroSoftware, renewing education platform brand Akademikro and developed a comprehensive test and certification platform with efficient and effective learning process that can be accessed on mobile by its business partners. We talked about Akademikro’s advantages, contributions to the sector and Mikro Software’s latest projects with Mikro Software Deputy General Manager Alpaslan Tomuş. n As a start, can you talk about Akademikro and its history? Our initial starting point was a question that we ask ourselves: “When we hire a staff, how would we prepare the training process?” and saw that such a training platform is needed. After seeing the need, we started to work with Micro Software’s 30 years of knowledge. We removed the ancient “learn by experience”

motto at first and decided to perform this process within a specific curriculum. In short, we believe that a business process needs to catch international standards. n You work with the Enocta for Akademikro. Can you talk about this cooperation? We think that a large audience targeting platforms such as Akademikro should be accessible 7/24. We searched companies giving LMS (Learning Management System) services and interviewed a couple of companies which carry out project on the subject, have training programs and follow new generation technologies. After all these meetings, we have decided to work with Enocta which holds 60% of the LMS market in Turkey. We agreed to publish the education system we developed on the platform provided by the Enocta.

n Can you please mention about the educational content of Akademikro and its contribution to the employees? We believe that you should be able to successfully measure the process in order to manage it well. In this direction, our target is to measure the knowledge of our employees and offer help in the areas that they are weak or open for self-development. After creating content in this direction, we move the content by matching it with competencies to an e-examination environment. Employees who are successful in this examination started to be certified online. With the certificates which are valid for a certain period of time, we aim to keep employees up to date for current technology and innovations through certificate renewal processes.
