Tabling at the Health Fair o Wednesday, March 18th @ 10:30am - 1:30pm in the East Gym o Help Circle K promote our club and service events at Binghamton's 14th Annual Health Fair! We'll also be explaining how volunteering is linked to health benefits for both volunteers and those who are positively affected by the volunteering. o Sign up to table for an hour slot through the weekly email! Southern Tier Recognition Ceremony Awards o LTG Brendon will be holding a Southern Tier Recognition Ceremony on Saturday, March 21st from 6 to 8:30pm at Cornell! o You can nominate a club member (or multiple) for Distinguished Club Member, and you can nominate Officers and Committee Chairs for a variety of other awards] (due March 11th). The forms in email E-Board 2020-2021 Elections!! o Letters of intent In order to run for a position, you must submit a letter of intent to circlek@binghamtonsa.org by Sunday, March 22nd at 11:59 PM. Your letter should be about a page long (give or take), and should express what position you are running for, why you are running for the position, why you think you are a good fit for the position, and what you hope to bring to the position. o Elections the following day during meeting on 3/23 If you submit a letter of intent, you will have to make a short speech (2 minutes if you are running opposed or 1 minute if you are running unopposed) during the meeting. More details on this process will be sent to you once you have submitted your letter. o Training that weekend (3/28 or 3/29) o New E-Board will take over officially on 4/6 o Descriptions of roles located in email

Be sure to log your personal hours! Here is what counts: o Service administration: planning for a service project (including marketing and advertising), contacting organizations, gathering supplies (only up to 100 hours/member) o Advocacy: participating in a protest, etc. o Fundraising: typical fundraising duties, baking for a bake sale, etc. In Upcoming meetings look forward to: o Bake Sales o Out of the Darkness Walk in April o Walk for Wishes April 25th o VINES Community Meal 3/31 o Best Buddies Friendship Walk: 4/19 o If anyone is interested: Gardening 101 through VINES March 12 6-8pm at the United Presbyterian Church at 42 Chenango St. in Binghamton Service with Mary o Positive Post-it notes
