Spot on Can Shows Color of Paint

The exact color and finish of the paint in each individual paint can manufacturett by the Paraffine Companies, Inc., of San Francisco, is revealed through a hole in the label as shown in the accompanying illustration.

An operator paints a spot on the outside of each paint can with the same color that is contained in the can. The label is provided with a small circular hole which is placed over the spot exposing the color to view, a practice that is greatly appreciated by the trade.
