KIRBY-BONNER LUMBER COMPANY DISSOLVED _PARENT COMPANY TAKES OVER OPERATIONS

The Kirby-Bonner Lumtber Company, the sales organization of the Kirby Lumber Company, with headquarters,and offices in Houston, Texas, has been dissolved, announcement to t'hat effect having been made by President John H. Kirby. The change goes into effect October 1.

The parent company takes over all. the accounts and as sets of the subsidiary company and resu,mes the direct hand;ling of its sales. There will be no change in eitheq the personnel, organization or p"licies of the 'sales'departdrent.

The purpose of the change is to facilitate the handling of the company's business, and the move has been in contenplation for some time.
