WELCOME BACK A Message from the Parks and Recreation Director

W

elcome to the Parks and Recreation Department Fall 2021 Recreation Guide! I am thrilled that we are able to resume all of our diverse class and program offerings in-person. The Parks and Recreation team has been diligently preparing for this day. We are excited to welcome you back as we continue offering the Burbank community quality services and enriching programs in partnership with our contract instructors and facility operators. Our Fall class offerings include something for every member of the community, from Parent-Child Ballet and Tap, to Youth Lego Robotics, and Adult Tai Chi. We also offer a wide variety of arts classes at the Betsy Lueke Creative Arts Center, swim lessons and aqua fitness classes at the Verdugo Aquatic Facility and golf lessons at DeBell Golf Club, among other offerings. Ensuring a safe environment for our employees, instructors and participants remains the City’s priority, therefore I assure you that the Department will continue to follow all state and county safety orders and protocols. I want to thank you for your flexibility and understanding. We look forward to seeing you soon! Marisa Garcia Director, Parks & Recreation
