3. SECURITY
Vrogum-Svarre has developed the ultimate window. The window combines a unique design with a virtually maintenance free exterior and technically some of the most exciting advancements available on the market.
The window is constructed with strong burglary proof hardware and is classified as RC2N due to EN162830, and secured by design due to BSEN 1627-30:
UNIQUE DESIGN The outside of the svarre window is all glass and presents a seamless, flat, shiny surface. The border of the glass is coloured and covers the timber frame on the inside. This smooth glass exterior gives the svarre window a simple and stylish appearance. MAINTENANCE FREE svarre is the first window on the market, with almost 100% maintenance free exterior. Glass is a proven material with extreme durability, as we know from ancient excavations – glass does not perish. The coloured border of the window is also guaranteed, it is baked into the glass in the toughening process and cannot fade. The window will therefore look new and stylish through the buildings life time. FULFILS THE MOST DESIRED REQUIREMENTS The window already fulfils the high technical requirements of the future. As a result the window will not become obsolete – it maintains its value and will in the end pay for itself. 1. MAINTENANCE FREE The window is constructed with glass on the outside, which covers the internal timber. Why glass? Glass has the advantage compared to other materials that it is: • Glass does not need any maintenance, only cleaning. 2. DURABILITY Glass is extremely durable, so is the colour on the glass. The colour is baked on the inside of the glass, and before the glass is toughened, which means that the color is burned into the glass. The advantage of glass is therefore:
• Hard stainless steel or aluminium hinges • Standard with 2-3 locking points on the front(by the handle). For a higher security 2-5 locking points both front and back can be selected as well as a lockable handle • 6 mm toughened glass outside. The toughened glass is produced according to EN 12150. The mark is placed, to make it as discreet as possible, on the edge of the glass in the bottom of the left side • Corner of the window when looking from the outside. The mark is identified as ’SGG SECURIT EN 12150 RB.* 4. SOUND PROOFING The window has excellent soundproof qualities with up to 42 Decibel, 38 Decibel is standard. • 2 weather seals • 3 layers of glass with different thickness. Standard 6mm toughened glass outside, 4mm glass on the remaining inner 2 panes. 5. INSULATING 3 layers of glass with following standard U-values, for reference window 1230 x 1480 mm: • DW = 0,89 • Ug = 0,6 6. WIND AND WATER TIGHTNESS The svarre window system has been designed to withstand extreme weather conditions. The system has been tested and certified to class E1800 due to EN12208, which means watertight at 1800 pascal pressure. This is more than 2 x hurricane pressure.

SVARRE SLIDING DOOR A very special high quality hardware system enables a unique sliding function in which one door leaf slides in front of a fixed section. This way the door sections take up no space and give an entirely open view.

When the sliding door is closed it appears with a plane surface without any level differences between the leading and fixed section. The sliding door is delivered with handles and espagnolettes in both side sashes with a total of 10 locking points which live up to some of the highest safety requirements on the market.
