Anonymous __________________________________________ Potholes seem to be on the agenda lately. I must say I’ve never seen worse roads and I’ve been to some pretty remote places in this expansive land of ours. On the bright side my son came to visit from the city in the last rains and was delighted to have so many ﬁshing holes close by, right in the middle of the road! We ate well for a few days until he hooked a shark and lost his nerve. My street is a lot quieter than it used to be, perhaps because you can’t actually drive down it any more. There also seem to be less children and dogs running about and I haven’t seen that near-sighted gentleman, who never missed his daily walks, for weeks.

John Bishop __________________________________________ After a long slog of a Monday it was great to ﬁnish work and hit The Pass and the Lighthouse for another beautiful sunset. I just wanted to let Byron know about the polite gentleman who let his dogs jump out and run around the car park, beach and bush without leads at The Pass. After letting him kindly know dogs are not allowed he was full of reasons why they should be such as “it’s OK there only little”, “ they are not big dogs” and my favourite “it’s OK, I am a local”. Firstly there are reasons why dogs are not allowed in this beautiful area, secondly you are a goose / bogan / loser / selﬁsh / a X short of a XXXX and thirdly you are NOT A LOCAL! Locals care about this place, you don’t, you are not a local. Go home.
