OBSERVATIONS: DURING THE MONTH OF MARCH AND THE SPRING EQUINOX, LIGHT STARTS AT THE TOP OF THE CEILING AND GRADUALLY MIGRATES DOWN THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROOM, THEN BACK UP TO THE CEILING. THIS IS AN EFFECT OF REFLECTION. AT 12:00PM THE SUN IS DIRECTLY SHINING ON THE DAYLIGHT STRUCTURE REFLECTING THE LIGHT BACK UP AN DIFFUSING THE REST OF THE LIGHT AROUND THE ROOM AND MOSTLY THE CEILING. AT 2:00PM THE MIGRATION OF THE SUN CONTINUES GOING FROM THE LEFT TO THE RIGHT UNTIL 6:00PM WHEN THE LIGHT FADES OUT AND THERE IS NO DISTINCT LIGHT SOURCE TO BE FOUND.

OBSERVATIONS: DURING THE MONTH OF JUNE AND THE SUMMER SOLSTICE, THE LIGHT STARTS AT THE LEFT HAND PART OF THE CEILING AND SLOWLY MIGRATES FROM THE LEFT TO THE RIGHT OF THE ROOM. SIMILARLY AS WE SAW IN THE SPRING EQUINOX, THE SUN GLARE IS DIRECTLY SHINING ON THE DAYLIGHT STRUCTURE, REFLECTING THE LIGHT BACK UP AN DIFFUSING IT AROUND THE ROOM SO THERE IS NO FLARE TO BE FOUND. AT 4:00PM THE GLARE FROM THE SUN HAS BEEN REFLECTED OFF OF A LIGHT FIXTURE FROM THE TRACK LIGHTING ON THE CEILING. IN CONTRAST TO THE SPRING EQUINOX, THERE IS A GLARE OF SUNLIGHT AT 6:00PM LOCATED ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE CEILING, CLOSE TO THE DAYLIGHT STRUCTURE. THIS CAN BE EXPLAINED BY A CHANGE IN THE SUNS AXIS AROUND THE EARTH. THE SUN IS NOW AT A 72 DEGREE ANGLE FROM THE EARTH SO ITS RAYS ARE MORE INTENSE WHEN COMPARE TO THE SPRING EQUINOX.
