WE ARE JUICE Concept statement L’croissance

From the integration of minimal linear fixtures, to utilizing lighting systems that maximize sufficient daylight, We Are Juice’s Lighting Design exhibits a luminous development in their wide range of conceptually similar fixtures and variety of lighting levels that, together, create a bright, inspiring space that encapsulates the naturalistic concept of growth the restaurant is dedicated to through the consumption of food derived straight from earth’s natural components.

WE ARE JUICE DESIGN NARRATIVE The Architectural Light Design in We Are Juice reinforces the restaurants association with Nature and Growth by: 1. Implementing suspended fixtures that display organic geometry, derived from components of nature 2. Integrating technology sophisticated LED Light Systems that utilize daylight sensors (to maximize energy conservation in spaces with sufficient daylight) and color tuning techniques (that mimic daylight to promote the natural benefits we receive from the sun) to overall, promote an ecological balance with nature and help “We are Juiceâ€? GROW as an even more sustainable business (in the food industry). 3. Providing simplicity in navigation with linear fixtures, ceiling mounted to the mullions at the top of the Greenhouse (staggered in equal increments along the entire ceiling) from the front of the juice bar cafĂŠ all the way to the back, where the dining entrance is located, further influencing the customers decision to prolong their visit for dinner. 4. Concentrating on the blending of illumination with control systems that allow the user to alter the color and intensity of each individual or selection of lamps for zones in-between the two dining spaces which have drastically different lighting requirements that must be met to achieve both of their contrasting ambiances.

WE ARE JUICE IES TARGET ILLUMINATION (foot candles) Focal point

Accent lighting helpS emphasize important areas of THE restaurant. WALL WASHERS AND GRAZERS add depth, contrast and create a focal point WITHIN THE SPACE AND THE PERFECT DESIRED ATMOSPHERE.

Color & light

White AND LIGHT COLORED walls give a uniformed brightness that is great for reflecting light and making spaces look bigger and brighter. Commercial spaces with darker colored walls can create a more intimate mood lighting.

Color temperature Lighting in the 3000K range is typically used to accentuate brightly colored food, such as vegetables and fruits.
