Enterprise Data Services gives tutorials at I/ITSEC Enterprise Data Services will host two tutorials at I/ITSEC to familiarize conference-goers with the benefits of shared data services. EDS makes necessary data available to Warfighters in timeframes that support mission success. It does this by enabling the discovery and reuse of existing, validated data that can be shared across all communities using modeling and simulation (M&S).
Navy showcasing 15 exhibits from all warfare areas The Navy will be showcasing its latest training and simulation technologies that help prepare the nation’s Warfighters for mission success. Many of the state-of-the-art training systems on display during the four-day conference are projects of the Naval Air Warfare Center, headquartered in Orlando’s Central Florida Research Park, located near the University of Central Florida. NAWCTSD is the Navy’s principal center for modeling, simulation, and training systems technologies. The center develops training systems for all of the Navy’s warfare areas. NAWCTSD employs about one thousand Central Florida engineers, scientists, and support personnel, and awards more than $1 billion in contracts to private industry each year.
OCPS recognizes Sara Au One of Team Orlando’s biggest advocates, particularly in the areas of STEM and Serious Gaming, Sara Au, was the recipient of the 2015 Adele Graham Award, presented by Orange County Public Schools. Au has been the OCPS District Partners in Education (PIE) Coordinator since 2010, connecting schools and businesses, including Team Orlando. The award is named after Florida’s former First Lady Adele Graham, and her desire that all school districts have an organized school volunteer program.
Visit the U.S. Army booths at IITSEC Stop by the U.S. Army booths (#143 and #1433) to learn about several projects and products at the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation and other Army offices/ centers. PM ITE The Project Manager Integrated Training Environment (PM ITE) provides relevant integrated modeling and simulation capabilities to achieve Army readiness. It converges virtual, constructive and gaming products into one organizational structure to ensure maximum benefits are derived from their blended capabilities in concert with live training.
