Cannabis has had a long history in India. It is one of the five sacred plants mentioned in Ayurveda. Cannabis was a legal and widely used plant in India until 1947, when it was made illegal due to foreign country pressure, despite the fact that its consumption is permitted during certain religious festivals for religious purposes.

Cannabis is one of the most widely grown crops in northern India. Himachal Pradesh is a state located in northern India. It is located in the western Himalayas.

Even after the plant was banned, it remained an important part of Himachal Pradesh culture. It is known as the unofficial cannabis capital of India and the Amsterdam of India.

Himachal Pradesh is very popular among the psychedelic community, and many psychedelic festivals are held there throughout the year.

My goal for this project is to create an immersive dynamic and visual art installation for the psychedelic music festival in order to enhance the visitor’s experience.
