A small scale working model that included a total of 18 elements was created at the conclusion of the term to demonstrate how the art installation operated.
A controller with built-in microphone is connected to LEDs. The controller will isolate the sound from the environment and change the colour of the led light and blink depending on the frequency and rhythm of the sound.
Each leaf form is connected to a servo motor that an Arduino Uno uses to control it. The Arduino Uno will use a Bluetooth receiver to receive music. The frequency of the song will then cause a random servo movement, which will produce a rhythmic visual dynamic portrayal of the music as light and movement.
