Explana�on

a) This building is a hotel and cafe that has a concept as beetle. Especially, the beetle that is on the surface of the building, has a place in percep�on of people. Some days, you can see many real beetle vehicle around the building. They make summits. b) This building is a real example of percep�on. Na�ve people know that building as Türkay Hotel. But the hotel has removed from there many years ago. But, people s�ll ask to bus driver “Will this bus arrive Türkay Hotel?” Antalya has many same condi�on that has rela�on with percep�on. c) This is the edge of the city, Konyaal� Coast. At the same �me, thefocus poins. d) This is the first huge se�lement on the Konyaal� Coast. Na�ve people do not like these building, because this is not has a place in ordinary coast pa�ern. e) This place is the real focus point of district. Public square has huge free area, and also commerical buildings. This place lives all day.

Conclusion

A�er studying to open spaces according to Rob Krier, and the neighborhood according to Kevin Lynch, open spaces generally create circula�on to reach Public Square as a main focu. The focu is opposite of the coast as an edge. The edge provides visual therapy and also the focu point provides to healthy social life. Also the edge helps to bear popula�on to make be�er condi�ons that are inside of the focu.
