Unravel the mystery of Russia on a riveting journey to two of its most iconic cities. In Moscow, stroll through the Kremlin and admire colorful St. Basil’s Cathedral. Marvel at priceless treasures of the czars, and go below ground to see the splendor of the Metro stations. Arrive in St. Petersburg via high-speed train and relish the incredible beauty of this canal-filled city nicknamed the “Venice of the North.” Be dazzled by opulent Peterhof and Catherine Palace. Study masterpieces at the State Hermitage Museum and watch ballet dancers warming up. Your memories of Russia will enrich your life for years to come!

Discovery: Moscow Highlights and Red Square. On a scenic tour, discover Moscow’s notable sites. See the vast fortifications of the Kremlin, Tverskaya Street, Red Square, Manezhnaya Square and the Arbat, a pedestrian-friendly area. Visit the copperdomed Orthodox Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Then, step inside imposing Red Square. Visit the ornate GUM department store and stroll to St. Basil’s Cathedral to admire its wildly colorful onion domes. Free Time: Enjoy lunch on your own.
Discovery: Kremlin. Visit inside the red-walled Kremlin, a self-contained, 15th-century city that includes palaces, gold-domed cathedrals and a medieval fortress. At the Armoury Chamber, gaze at the treasures of the Russian monarchs, including Fabergé eggs, gold and silver works of art, royal carriages and armor.
Day 4 | Moscow
Enrichment: Russian Art.
