Discovery: A City at War. After a tour of the Reunification Palace, visit Notre Dame Cathedral, a 19th-century church with soaring towers. Admire the French Colonial architecture at Ho Chi Minh City Hall and visit the War Remnants Museum.

Discovery: Ben Thanh Market. Follow in the footsteps of Saigon’s locals at Ben Thanh Market. You may spy a variety of flowers and fruit, silk cloth and spices, and delicious street-style food for sale. Transfer to the port of My Tho this afternoon and embark the MV Mekong Navigator. This evening gather with fellow travelers for a Welcome Reception and Dinner as you set sail for your Mekong River adventure.
Day 5 | Tien Loi Island | Vinh Long
Discovery: Tien Loi Island. Experience the buzzing atmosphere of the river delta, and see a demonstration of making rooster cages. Then, visit a village where baby trees are cultivated.
Discovery: Vinh Long. See where rice wine is made, and meet Buddhist nuns at a senior home.
Day 6 | Sa Dec | Cu Lao Gieng
