A history of Cammell Laird 1907 FC Cammell Laird 1907 FC can trace its history back to 1899 when a team from the Upper Boilers Shop of Laird Bros played in Birkenhead Park, before turning to the rugby code. It was not until June 1907 that the Cammell Laird Institute AFC was established, with its first fixture taking place on 2nd September 1907 against Tranmere Rovers, finishing 9th in the West Cheshire League in their inaugural season (1907/08). In the early years the club played at a number of grounds and won their first trophy (the Shipley Cup) in April 1921, before in the summer of 1922 they moved to St Peters Road (which still remains their current home) as Kirklands FC. They disbanded in 1939 but reformed in 1946. The club had their most successful period during the 1970's and 80's winning the West Cheshire League on a regular basis. 1994/5 saw the club reach the FA Vase quarter final before losing to Arlesey Town. The early part of the new millennium saw the club reach new heights. They started the rise through the pyramid, making history by becoming the first club to win the championship of the Second and First Divisions of the North West Counties League, which they achieved in 2004/05 and then 2005/06. In the same year as that First Division triumph, the club reached the FA Vase semi final (losing to eventual winners Nantwich Town) and two years later, the club gained promotion to the Unibond Premier League. However, they were relegated after just one season due to ground grading. Having fought relegation battles successfully, the club finished bottom of the Evo Stik North in 2011/12, but were reprieved, and bounced back the following season by finishing league runners up before losing on penalties in the play off final against Trafford. Last season saw the club finish 11th but the decision was taken by the club to resign from the Evo Stik NPL due to ownership issues and form a new club: Cammell Laird 1907 FC. The new club was formed on 28th May 2014.
LAIRDS in this competition When Lairds decided to drop down to the North West Counties Football League Division One in the summer, they did so knowing that they would be playing at this level for only the second time in their history. The last time was in 2004/05 and it was probably the most successful season in the club’s history, so let’s hope for a repeat this season! After playing in the West Cheshire League since 1948-49 no one could have predicted how successful that season would be. Lairds comfortably won the title, scoring 142 league goals. That remains a record for this division (which only Nelson last season have come close to breaking). At the time it was a record for the NWCFL as a whole, and only FC United of Manchester’s tally of 157 goals in the Premier Division of 06/07 have beaten that since. During 04/05 Lairds scored 4 or more goals in a game on an incredible 23 occasions out of a possible 36. This helped them finish 10 points clear of nearest rivals Silsden. There were that many standout results that it would be impossible to fit them all on just this space, so here is a selection:
Saturday 18th December 2004—LAIRDS 8-1 Flixton, and Monday 2nd May 2005—Flixton 0-6 LAIRDS. These results were against a team who had a goal difference of just –7 that season, which is not bad for a team that finished 2nd from bottom.
Cheadle Town were a mid-table team that season, not that you would have known that when they played Lairds: Tuesday 1st March 2005—LAIRDS 7-1 Cheadle Town The return was an even better result: Wednesday 20th April 2005—Cheadle Town 1-9 LAIRDS.
Blackpool Mechanics finished just above Cheadle in 10th place, but they must have been wishing that they could never play Lairds again! Tuesday 12th October 2004—LAIRDS 8-1 Blackpool Mechanics Tuesday 30th November 2004—Blackpool Mechanics 0-5 LAIRDS
In Lairds first fixture at this level, they drew 1-1 away to Padiham. However, for the fixture at Lairds, there was only one team in the game: Saturday 19th February 2005—LAIRDS 6-0 Padiham. Perhaps it should be pointed out that our opponents finished just two places outside a promotion place.
Lairds won the title with just 3 defeats in the league, 2 of which were against 2nd placed Silsden, and a goal difference of 108.

To Be FRANK Frank Games gives a view from the boardroom A very warm welcome to the Directors, Committee, Players and Officials of today’s visitors from Widnes and can I take this opportunity to wish them a successful season. I am having to write this piece early in December to meet printing deadlines, but I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy New Year. It has been a very busy year for our new club, indeed this time last year the committee were not even thinking of starting again so you can see how much we have achieved in such as short space of time. Not only have we formed a new club, but we changed our management team, brought in some new sponsors and find ourselves in a great position in the league, so I think we can all pat ourselves on the back, whilst realising that there is still so much more for us to do both on and off the pitch. I just wanted to point you in the direction of the club shop for a Lairds late gift for the Lairds supporter in your life including our 2015 Calendar, all reasonably priced (or so Jeff tells me)! Don't forget to buy a badge as part of the MEN UNITED charity which you can get when you buy your cuppa from Kirklands Kitchen. Enjoy the game and have a safe journey home and enjoy your New Year celebrations. Seasonal Greetings,
Frank Frank Games, Chairman

LAIRDS WELCOME… WIDNES THE BASICS Established: 2003
Nickname: The Vikings, The Dragons
Stadium: Select Security Stadium
History The Dragons AFC was formed in February 2003 with the aim of making football fun, teaching new skills and self confidence. The aim was to make football so much fun that children wanted to be involved and keep coming back for more. Based in Widnes, Cheshire, the Dragons AFC, later to be known as Widnes Dragons has a fantastic reputation locally for their contribution towards the development of grassroots football in Halton, and provide opportunities to play football for over 200 players from the age of 6 to open age. The club have put in a great amount of effort to run the club according to the best practices laid down by the FA. To that end the club achieved the FA Charter Standard award in December 2003 and were recognised as the first club to achieve this award in Halton. Over the years the club continued to expand, encouraging players of all abilities to participate. Having success on and off the playing field, the club has also participated in successful tours to Spain (twice), Belfast and Devon to name a few. In 2008 the club was awarded the FA Charter Standard Development award for the continuous development of grassroots football. To celebrate this achievement, the club staged their annual presentation at Goodison Park, the home of Everton Football Club. More presentations followed at prestige venues, namely The Stobart Stadium and The Etihad Stadium in Manchester to give the players an increased sense of achievement. In March 2012 Widnes Dragons started a consultation process with Widnes Vikings RLFC to be-
7
come part of the Vikings Sports brand, a partnership that was to enhance the club’s community status. On the 10th July 2012 at the club’s AGM, club members agreed to become part of the Widnes Vikings Group and agreed on a 12 month transitional period up to the end of the 2012-13 season. Also in the month of July, the club were proud to achieve the FA Charter Standard Community Club award. Widnes have also secured a successful partnership with Everton Football Club, becoming official school boy recruitment partners. In 2013-14, Widnes were admitted into the NWCFL Division One, taking the name of Widnes Vikings for that season. Their first game at NWCFL level took place on Saturday 3rd August 2013, and despite Luke Forsyth giving them an early lead, they were eventually defeated 3-1 at home to Cheadle Town. Just two games later, and they had their first win, finishing 5-1 victors away to Northwich Flixton Villa, Ronnie McCarthy scoring twice. In the end, the result was a solid if unspectacular first season—finishing 14th with 9 wins, 9 draws and 18 defeats. There was a however, a one point deduction, which brought their points total down to 35 as opposed to 36. This season, there are some signs of progress, with Widnes having a record of 6 wins and 3 draws this season.
FIVE A SIDE TEAM If Widnes did five a side, their team might be... David Nevitt—The 22 year old goalkeeper is starting to establish himself as Widnes’ number one. Nevitt has previously played for Avon Athletic, and with him in goal, the team have had some excellent wins, for example, the 5 -3 win at Cheadle Town, wins over St Helens Town and Prescot Cables (for which Nevitt received a man of the match award) and the 6-0 thrashing of Eccleshall.
James Ludgate—A 19 year old midfielder is another who has impressed with mature performances. As well as appearing in good wins over Daisy Hill, Cheadle Town, St Helens Town Thomas Mitchell—An inspirational team captain at the age and Prescot Cables, he has received three man of the match of just 23, the ex-Atherton Collieries defender has impressed awards so far (against Chadderton, Oldham Boro and for Widnes this season. He has led his team to clean sheets, Barnton in the Reusch First Division Cup). He scored the only for example over Oldham Boro, as well as good wins over goal in the Men United Cup win at Barnton. Daisy Hill and Cheadle Town. In the Cheadle game, he scored and won man of the match, and recently doubled his tally for the season against Hanley Town.
Ben Tollitt—The 20 year old striker is Widnes’ top scorer this season with 9 goals, so will no doubt be a handful for our defenders this afternoon. With an impressive hat trick against Daisy Hill, a brace over Ashton Town and Eccleshall as well as strikes against Prescot Cables and Barnton, he will score goals if given the chance. He has also received man of the match awards against Ashton Town, St Helens Town and Eccleshall.
8
Joel Douglas—An ex-Christleton FC striker, he is 26 years old, signed for Widnes in the summer, and like Tollitt, has impressed up front for Widnes—with seven goals to his name. After scoring their first goal of the season against Wigan Robin Park, he got a brace at Rochdale Town , as well as strikes over Oldham Boro, Daisy Hill, Cheadle Town and Ashton Town (where he received man of the match).
OPPOSITION IN FOCUS Despite playing in the West Cheshire League Third Division in 2012-13, Widnes made a good transition into the NWCFL Division One in 2013-14—three steps above the league that they were playing in. Their first win at this level was a thrashing of Northwich Flixton Villa 5-1. A particularly impressive victory was that at a Formby side who gained promotion at the end of the season (though sadly no longer exist) in their next outing, before they racked up a third straight win at home to Rochdale Town. Before August had passed, the Vikings had also defeated Atherton LR. Perhaps that start to the season gave them a false sense of security—they won just five more games until the end of the season (four of which were against teams that finished below them) - or perhaps injuries just took their toll on the squad. That said, a 14th placed finish is very respectable considering the level that they were used to, and no doubt they will look to kick on this season, knowing that a look at the stadium tells you that they have the best facilities of any side in this league. This season, their start may not have been as impressive, but it has still been solid. After a narrow loss at Wigan Robin Park on opening day, back to back wins were secured over Oldham Boro and Litherland REMYCA as well as a draw with Chadderton. Like many sides who hold a mid table position, they have struggled for consistency, though if you are wanting to see goals, Widnes are a secure bet, with 115 goals involving them at the time of going to press. A 5-0 defeat at Holker Old Boys was shortly followed by a 4-4 draw at Rochdale Town (though despite the fact it was an excellent point, manager Steve Hill pointed out that his side needed to improve defensively), and a 4-2 win at home to Daisy Hill. After a 5-3 win at Cheadle Town, it looked as if Steve Hill’s men were going to mount a serious challenge for the top 6, but momentum was halted with draws over Irlam and Ashton Town, and most disappointingly a defeat at bottom placed Oldham Boro. Yet they were still able to bounce back, coming from 4-1 down to defeat Premier Division side St Helens Town on penalties in the Men United Cup and a win on penalties over Evo-Stik Division One North side Prescot Cables. Inconsistency was further shown as a run of 3 straight defeats was followed by a 6-0 thrashing of Eccleshall away from home and a 4-1 win at Ashton Town. More recently, Widnes have had some morale destroying defeats—an 8-0 loss at Glossop North End in the Men United Cup, and a fortnight ago a 10 (ten)-1 defeat at Northwich Flixton Villa. That said, Glossop are a very good side, who with games in hand on Runcorn Linnets, are probably favourites for the Premier Division title, and at NFV, they were missing some important players, and most importantly an actual goalkeeper. A brief look at the squad shows that it has the potential to be competitive—summer signing Joel Douglas hitting seven goals, and recently, they were boosted by the return a familiar name to Lairds: Paul Cliff.
Manager Steve Hill was appointed manager on 20th September 2012, and had plenty of experience prior to his appointment. He has spent 20 years in coaching and management, including work for Liverpool County FA, Liverpool FC and Prescot Cables, as well as the role of assistant manager at Burscough.
During his time at Widnes, Hill has seen his side go from playing West Cheshire League Division Three football (where he won the West Cheshire League’s manager of the month for February 2013) to NWCFL level, and last season led Widnes to a respectable 14th placed finish. In the past, he has spoken about being “not happy to finish second”. He feels that promotion is a realistic aim for Widnes, especially with the introduction of play-offs this season, saying that the team are better equipped this season, and that “consistency is the aim for us and if we can produce week in, week out then we will certainly be up there.”

MACCA’S Message Manager Paul McNally shares his thoughts I would like to start today's notes by extending a very warm and festive welcome to all staff, players and representatives of Widnes. The festive period always throws up a local derby and today's encounter should prove to be a quality game and hopefully provide Lairds with a win. We have a busy period coming up and it is important that we take each game as it comes and not get carried away with anything. Over the last few weeks the importance of having quality throughout the whole squad has become apparent as the games arrived thick and fast. We are fortunate to have a good squad here at Cammell Laird 1907 and each and every one of them has to make sure they are ready to do a job for the team when they are called upon. We have shown in recent weeks just what we are capable of, but unless we do things in the right manner we can’t expect to get any reward. Lastly I would like to wish all the staff/volunteers and committee who work tirelessly behind the scenes a Merry Christmas and a happy new year ! Come on Lairds ! #LairdsFamily Thanks
Macca Paul McNally, First Team Manager

LAIRDS LOG A TALE OF TWO PENALTIES Lairds defeat Irlam at the MBS Stadium, the game changing on two spot kicks—one for Lairds, one for Irlam Paul McNally named an unchanged side vived a half-hearted penalty appeal

Just as in the first half, Lairds were able to find the back of the net shortly after kick-off – this time just two minutes. Despite Ryan Longworth’s booking for a late challenge, Irlam levelled midway through the half through Gareth Mooney. Disappointing from a Lairds point of view, with Mooney able to get past three challenges before firing home. Lairds looked stunned, and Irlam had a good chance to go into the lead, as Ben Christopher played a nice ball inside to Gary Prescott, but Langley saved well from the number 9. Potter saw his volley flash just wide from the edge of the penalty area, before Holt was able to force another smart save out of White. Cairns was given an excellent chance, with Evans’ in swinging corner being perfect for him, but from about six yards out he headed wide. Connor Naughton sur-

Mooney dragged well wide for Irlam, and Potter’s effort from range was straight at White. Out of nothing, Irlam had a great chance to level, with a mixup at the back seeing the ball fall to Prescott. Luckily, Langley saved well to spare Lairds’ blushes.
third 12 minutes from time. Couch went on a rampaging run in the box before being brought down by Jacques Kpohogmou. It looked a clear penalty, so who knows what the Irlam players were protesting so vocally about. Potter’s spot kick never looked in doubt – clinically struck into the bottom left hand corner. Not long after, Franny Foy was taken off for Tom Hartley in a Lairds switch. Irlam were almost handed a way back into the game, as a poor back pass was recovered by Langley. Cairns could have extended the lead, but sliced high and wide, Lango was clearly unimpressed! Kpohogmou could count himself a little lucky to only receive a booking after a very late challenge on Couch that left the Lairds right-back in severe pain. As Couch limped on, he was given more rough treatment by Christopher, but Lairds came closest to another goal. The goalkeeper missed a long ball by Speed, with Cairns only able to play it right across the face of goal. Potter retrieved and worked it back out to Speed, who fired just over from the edge of the box. Just as Lango started complaining to the linesman about how long was being played because it was ‘cold’, he was able to get into the warmth of the dressing room, as the final whistle went. FT: Lairds 3-1 Irlam
Again, a hard-fought win for Lairds, who continue to accumulate three points whilst not being at their optimum level in the first-half. The win is certainly a Ryan Ledson was booked for a late chal- confidence booster for the big one at lenge on Speed, and from the resulting Colls next Saturday, and it ensures that no matter what happens there, we will free kick, Potter forced a great save from 30 yards, with White diving to his be top at Christmas (though obviously Colls have games in hand). A comfortable win for Lairds over potentially tricky opposition. We might have been out of sight, but didn’t take our chances and allowed Irlam back into the game. Thankfully, with a bit of luck from Irlam’s penalty, we got what we deserved.
A 3-1 away defeat at the weekend at the hands of league leaders Cammell Laird was a scoreline that scarcely gave Irlam FC any credit in a game that developed into a real end to end affair over the 90 minutes.

On New Years Day, Lairds win the bragging rights in the derby victory over Prescot Cables on the Wirral. John Couch and Craig Cairns strike for Lairds in the 2-1 win. However, it can’t be followed up, as Lairds lose 3-2 against Farsley (in which Cairns again finds the back of the net), and are held to a draw at Kendal Town. Lairds’ next win is a pleasing 4-2 victory over Wakefield, Cairns getting a hat trick and Richie Foulkes also on the score sheet. There are defeats in the Cheshire Senior Cup and Liverpool Senior Cup.
The month begins with a good point over title chasing Warrington Town, and there is another excellent win at Ramsbottom United, before in front of a crowd of 879, Lairds go down 3-1 at Darlington 1883. Draws with Mossley and Clitheroe follow, before the month ends with two home games. Radcliffe Borough are defeated 2-1, but Ossett Albion come away from Wirral as 1-0 victors.
April
The month begins positively, with a 3-2 win at Padiham. Pleasingly, Joe Gibiluru is on the scoresheet after a long February time out. Two disappointing defeats at New Mills and HarGenerally, a successful month for Lairds, who go into rogate Railway Athletic follow, before Lairds’ time in the March in 10th place in the Evo-Stik Division One North, Evo-Stik League draws to a close with a 0-0 draw with though the gap with the play-off places now seems too Northwich Victoria. In the final programme under the big. The month begins with a good 2-1 win over play-off form of Cammell Laird FC, Frank Games and Tony Sullivan contenders Ramsbottom United, Cairns again on the thank all at the club for their support throughout the seascoresheet along with Jamie Henders. There is no shame son. The programme also marks in defeat at the side who end the month title favourites the last game in which the old (Curzon Ashton), and Lairds win on the road at Burscough, badge is used. Cairns continuing his good form with a brace. It is the 2-1 defeat at home to Ossett Town that seems to put paid to Lairds’ play-off hopes. Off the field, secretary Toddy Wood is delighted to receive the NPL Fair Play Award for January.
16
May From the ashes of the old Cammell Laird FC, a new club is formed in Cammell Laird 1907 FC. Again off the field, the club is delighted to announce a new sponsorship deal with Merseyside Building Supplies that is to see Kirklands Stadium renamed as the MBS Stadium.
June Real steps are taken in the development of the new club. Tony Sullivan is re-appointed as first-team manager. Groundsman John King also receives recognition from Wirral FA for over 50 years of service to Lairds’ ground. There is, however, tragic news, as former player Jamie Kenyon dies at the age of just 29. Jamie was a talented player, who played mostly for the Reserves...he will be sadly missed. It is confirmed that 1907 will play in the NWCFL Division One next season, 10 years after they won a league, League Challenge Cup and then Second Division Challenge Trophy treble at this level. It is announced that 1907’s first ever competitive fixture will be against Tranmere Rovers at the MBS Stadium in July. Dave Lewis is appointed as Reserve Team Manager, whilst it is confirmed that 1907’s first ever league fixture will be on Saturday 2nd August at the MBS Stadium against Atherton Collieries, with away games at Irlam and Hanley Town to follow. Finally in a busy month, Carroll Group Ltd are announced as First Team kit sponsors.

BURKE’S Banter Welcome to the MBS Stadium for today’s game against Widnes in the final home game of the year. In particular, we welcome the directors, players, staff and supporters who have made the short journey from Cheshire. Due to the Christmas printing deadlines, this programme has been produced before the Atherton Collieries game, so obviously I can’t make any other comment other than I hope we got three points! I can however, comment on our last home game vs Irlam. In the first 15 minutes, it looked like we were going to blow our opponents away, as we created chances at will. Unfortunately, we didn’t take them, and gave Irlam a route back into the game. Once again though, our second half performance was first class. I must admit, I missed Craig’s goal (I stayed warm for too long in the social club—J20 everyone, not something I shouldn’t have been having at my age!), but was there for Irlam’s frankly dreadful penalty! That perhaps changed the game, and from then on, there looked only one winner. I am writing these notes just after Widnes’ disastrous 10-1 defeat at Northwich Flixton Villa. However, we know from experience how good NFV are, and Widnes did have several key players out, including the goalkeeper. Instead we should judge them on their good first half of the season, a win over Daisy Hill, as well as a 5-3 triumph at Cheadle Town and a 6-0 win at Eccleshall come to my mind. It’s our last home game of 2014, so I just want to reflect on what a fantastic year it has been football-wise. The players, staff and fans all have the same passion for our club, and this has been reflected in our performances. We are currently four points clear at the top of the league as I write this, with no one in the division scoring more league goals than Freddie Potter.
it would be ‘so nearly the underdog year.’ Despite being an Evertonian, our neighbours came so close to upsetting all the odds last season (though I guess Demba Ba saved me from a year of taunting), and in May, Atletico Madrid came so close to a first Champions League crown, only to be denied with pretty much the last kick of the game, the same as their last final in 1974. This continued in the World Cup in Brazil, and I could fill the whole programme with examples. The main one that stands out to me was Argentina vs Iran. The Iranians were absolutely magnificent, only to be denied by three brilliant saves from Romero in the Argentina net. Then, last minute, the only time he had threatened all game, Messi curled in an absolute beauty. Iran players had given everything and it was so nearly enough. Whilst I am not a fan of his bias, I felt that Clive Tyldesley captured the emotion superbly– I was close to tears. I still know his commentary for Iran’s three chances and Messi’s goal off by heart (either I’m sad or it was brilliant commentary)! Another example was Germany vs Algeria, round of 16. At the tournament, Algeria were everything that England weren’t— they played for each other, they played with pride for their nation and they played to win every game. The Algeria manager’s tears at the end were for me, one of the first things that I will think about that World Cup—how nice it would have been to see our overpaid ‘stars’ showing the same emotion after England’s exit. A final example is a team called Luzenac, who you may or may not have heard of. Luzenac is a tiny village in the Pyrenees with a population of just 650. They were the smallest team ever to play in the French 3rd tier, and their ground was too small so they had to move elsewhere. Then, against all the odds, last season they were promoted to Ligue 2, even the ground that they had moved to was not good enough. Despite an agreement to play in Toulouse for this season, it was deemed not good enough, and the biggest fairy-tale in European football was over—Luzenac now play in the seventh tier. On the theme of French football, my team Chamois Niortais came so close to being in Ligue 1. One of the relegation favourites defeated the likes of champions Metz, but chasing a goal in the key clash away to Lens in front of 40,000, they were caught on a counter to make Lens firm promotion favourites. Who’d be a football fan eh?
For me, I couldn’t have imagined what an invaluable year it would be. I now have so much more experience– having done a match report here and there, including in Formby’s last ever game (I really hope they can reform by the way, because they, like Lairds were an amazing club that I have so much respect for). In June, Frank offered me the chance to do Lairds programme and it has just gone from there I suppose. I hope you’d agree that, although there have been one or two typoos here Seriously, I’d like to wish you all a happy new year, and I hope and there, each programme seems better than the last. I’d like to see you at our next home game a week today, as we look for to thank all the staff behind the scenes for making me feel so revenge over NFV. welcome! For football in general, if I could describe the year in five words, Patrick

NEXT AWAY GAME INFO - for AFC Darwen details, please see the Irlam programme Ashton Town vs LAIRDS—Saturday 24th January 2015—League—15:00 Ground address: The AM Property Group Stadium, Edge Green Street, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan, WN4 8SL Directions by car: A similar journey to that of Atherton Colls. Go past Everton’s ground on Walton Lane (A580). Go through the roundabout, and after about 8 miles on the road, turn left onto the Liverpool Road (A58), signposted Ashton-in-Makerfield. Continue on the A58 for about 3 mile, then turn right onto Golbourne Road at St Luke’s Church Centre. On this road, take the 3rd right onto Edge Green Street (the ground is at the end of the road).
Directions by train: Nearest station: Bryn—Around 1½ mile from ground Recommended journey: On the way from Liverpool: 13:00—Platform 1—Lime Street to Bryn (Northern Rail to Wigan North Western) - 39 mins (arrives 13:39). Unfortunately, the only way to do it is on one of those trains that stops at places you’ve never heard of! Alternative options include the 13:32 from Lime Street, which arrives at 14:11. Return: 17:38—Platform 2—Bryn to Lime Street (Northern Rail Service) - 44 mins (arrives 18:22) Can be done at 17:16, arriving 19:29 but obviously will be tight—see National Rail website. Return journey price for one adult: £10.50 Station to ground: Turn right out of the station and stay on the Wigan Road until you reach the factory of Arnold Clark. Then turn left onto Nicol Road, continuing past the park until you reach Bryn Road. Turn right on the Bryn Road and stay on it until you reach the main Bolton Road (A58). At the fourth road on the right (Thomspon Street), turn right, and when you reach the T-junction, turn left onto Belvedire Road. At the end of this road, turn right onto Kilburn Avenue, and the ground is at the bottom of the road. For this game though, a bus is probably best, as it picks you up outside the station and drops you off very close to the ground. As you come out of the station, carefully cross the road and go to the bus stop. The 600 leaves every 12 minutes (04, 16, 28,40 and 52 past the hour), and takes 10 minutes to the Golbourne Road/Cross Keys stop. When you get off the bus, turn back on yourself, and the second road on the left is Edge Green Street. Go down this road and the ground is at the bottom of this road. On the way back, it is the same service and same stop outside the station. It takes 12 minutes on the way back, after 17:30pm, the service is reduced to once every 15 mins (17:39 and 17:54), and after 18:00pm, once every 30 minutes (18:24 and 18:54). The 18:54 service is 601 (not 600) if anyone is interested. If travelling by train, please check the National Rail Journey Planner before travelling, and if appropriate, the timetables for the number 600 bus at www.tfgm.co.uk. The above information may change! We are grateful for your support!
