I have a caller I have been speaking with for a couple of weeks. I was able to get her booked at a pregnancy center where she got an ultrasound. I have had spiritual conversations and prayed over her during our calls. Today when we spoke she said she is still undecided but has not scheduled an abortion. God opened the door for deeper spiritual conversation and she acknowledged that she considers herself spiritual, believes in God, but has never made a decision to follow Christ. I explained the Gospel to her, and I am pleased to tell you that she prayed a prayer of repentance and salvation today!

Care Net Connects Pregnancy Center Clients to Churches for Discipleship

Embraced by the Church

Kari and Andy visited Life Choices Pregnancy Center with an unplanned pregnancy. After choosing life, they signed up for parenting classes. But their story didn’t end there. As a Care Net affiliate, Life Choices seeks to connect clients to local churches for discipleship and ongoing support. They encourage their church partners to use Care Net’s Making Life Disciples training program. One of the pastors reached out and asked how his church could help.

Here’s what happened next:

“We were happy to connect the pastor to Kari and Andy, who had recently lost his job, and were several months behind in their rent. The pastor met with the young couple, and on behalf of the church, offered to cover what they needed to make up their rent. Shortly after, Andy was able to find a new, full-time job to provide for his family. The couple expressed interest in attending church, so the pastor arranged transportation since they did not own a vehicle.

Two different couples from the church took turns transporting the family to church, and Kari began attending every Sunday. Andy was unable to attend due to work, so the pastor began going to their apartment on his day off to do a Bible study, taking the church to them. Andy and Kari are now engaged and committed to their relationship and family.
