Background or significant of the project

When we are thinking about christianity we always thinking about the Jesus, the cross, the pope, architecture of churches that have a beautiful christian arts and the blessed of virgin Mary. The blessed of virgin Mary is mother of Jesus Christ who is the figure of the Christianity. In Christianity always use symbols to represent their beliefs and related with their history such as the white lily flower is stand for purity, royalty, rebirth and motherhood, the white rose is stand for purity, dedication and simplicity, The vines thorn is stand for the pain of Mary who give birth of Jesus and saw the tortures and the death of his son, etc. For this artwork I would like to praise to the blessed virgin Mary who dedicated and following the order of the god. Even I am buddhism but I feel bound on her for long time ago and after I study about her stories, I am very impressed on her so much.
Project Objective
1. To study about the symbolic of the christianity arts. 2. To study paper craft techniques. 3. To create and design the paper craft through the concept of work.

Knowledge after finished produce art or design works
1. Knowledge of the history and meaning of Symbolic and flowers of Christianity such as the lily is considered as a symbol of chastity and purity. It is portrayed in the art forms of early Christian paintings, typically resting in a vase. The flower is also associated with Virgin Mary. 2. Knowledge and experiences of paper craft techniques such as cutting and folding. 3. Knowledge of applying photos and painting of history and apply to design paper craft such as Mary with the Child and Singing Angels by Sandro Botticelli. Our Lady of Sorrows of Chandavila, La Codosera, Spain, etc. 4. Knowledge of visual composition and design element.
