Editor’s Message Hey Hey Monsters! The key club term has gone by really fast and before you know it the new officers will take over. It is that time of year for the elections of the 2017-2018 officers. Please come out to support. The dates are 14th and 21st of February. You will have the opportunity to listen to each of the candidate's speeches and ask them questions during the caucus section. In this month’s issue, I go over some upcoming service events and recap old ones. The division gathered to elect our new LTG for the next term! As always, do not forget to complete at least 15 hours of service for us to sign off your hours by the end of the year. April is quickly approaching so get them done as soon as possible.

We are also having many future fundraisers so please help us out and support us as we raise money for the club together. In service and friendship, Cassandra Woo Franklin Key Club Bulletin Editor 2016-2017

Conclave 2017 The d7s conclave is without a doubt one of the most unique and inspiring events I have ever had the pleasure of attending. It holds a special place in my heart for being one of my first professional non-service key club event, and has established the foundation of cohesiveness and professionalism within my key club career. It was inspiring to see the individuals present themselves in their best light, and emotionally moving to see the progression. From the well thought of platforms to the light hearted analogies, I find this years conclave to stand out from last years. - Alissen Trinh

December DCM + Meet & Gr

7

reet the LTG Elect This DCM was very fun, as are the others. I arrived at the park about half an hour before the DCM actually started so I was able to play and run around on the playground with my best friends. After the meeting began, our newly elected lieutenant governor, Anthony Chan, was introduced to the crowd. He was always smiling and his positivity spread to others. Despite the windy conditions that day, the potluck, music, and, especially, the Starbucks coffee that followed the meeting was amazing. - Brent Lee

Key Moments Throughout my three years in Key Club it has been truly an experience. I’ve been able to make new friends, have an easier time finding volunteer opportunities, and participate in many enjoyable events. However, one event that stands out from the rest was when I was able to volunteer for a Korean Food Festival at St. JeongHae Elizabeth Korean Catholic Church. Before the festival began everyone was treated very kindly as we all set-up their tables, posters, and food. Once the festival commenced some of my friends were even able to help advertise their photo booth by wearing traditional Korean marriage attire. Afterwards when the festival was over you would think the event would slowly spiral downwards in excitement however it was still a very enjoyable time as we cleaned up their area. All of the volunteers were offered the left over food and there was even a really cool wheelbarrow that we were all able to ride around their parking lot. Even though this is my most memorable event, I still remember many others and hope that I’ll make even more happy memories for my last year in key club. - Krisha Cuasay
