Presidents Welcome! Hello Kiwis! Back to School season is just right around and it was so nice seeing so many new and old faces during Registration Week! I hope all of you had an amazing summer filled with friends, family, sleep and good food! With school right around the corner, I hope many of you are still participating in Key Club events during the weekends and after school! We have many upcoming events such as the August DCM which is happening this Saturday from 11-2 at Stenzal Park and it's a great way to end off your summer! We also have many service events such as Relay for Life, USA Trialthon, 3 Crosses and many more! If you want more information, check out our Facebook page! Thanks to everyone that attended our Pampas Fundraiser this past week! I hope you all bought some yummy empanadas and coffee while contributing to PTP! Enjoy your last week of summer and make the most out of it! Make plans with your friends, perform some service with Key Club, cram that last piece of summer homework or just sleep and wake up whenever you want! Whatever it is, make Summer 2017 memorable and put on your thinking caps for this upcoming school year!

Spotlight on Service Lantern Ceremony 8/5/17
Running late on the Bart schedule, our members weren't sure what to expect at the event. The event coordinator, who was very friendly, set us with immediate tasks. Unloading the trucks and setting up tables took up most of our time. With our fellow American Indian treasurer, whom we met at the event, we also the labeled chairs with stickers. - Ella Xu

Closing Note
How was summer kiwis? Oh my it’s almost school! I hope you had a fantastic summer and got all of your to do list checked off. There’s still events before summer ends and more coming. Make sure you keep up with the Facebook page, check our Instagram, and sign up for the remind. All of these are great resources to stay in touch and make sure you get the most up to date information about upcoming events. Thank you everyone for taking the time to flip through the newsletters. I can’t wait to see you all everyday at school and especially every Tuesday at lunch. Enjoy that last few days of summer go out, see your friends, plan an adventure. Make sure you have time for summer homework though!
