RESCUING A REFUGEE FAMILY
You offered hope to those in desperation
Fortunately, you were there for them through CBN Israel. You helped furnish their home and provided vouchers to purchase nutritious groceries. And you are connecting them with resources to find jobs, learn Hebrew, and adjust to life in Israel. Boris exclaimed, “When we came here, the apartment was completely empty. But thanks to you, we now have furniture, appliances, and food on the table. I am deeply grateful. … I will never forget it.”
Boris and his family lived in Belarus, one of the poorest nations of the former Soviet Union. Even after the country gained independence, its president alone still wields most of the power. Wanting a better life for his fellow countrymen, Boris spoke out against the system. But his political activism caused the government to target him and his family.
Fearing more repercussions, Boris’s family moved to Kiev in Ukraine and planned to make it their home. Then, with the outbreak of war in Ukraine, it became unsafe to remain there. So, they sought refuge in Israel within the small, welcoming northern city of Karmiel.
Because Boris’s family had to leave in haste, they had little time for planning or packing. They came without furniture or belongings. Like many refugees fleeing the Ukraine war, the family received help when they arrived, but it soon ran out. Where could they turn?
Your support is offering encouragement and vital assistance to so many hurting refugees, Holocaust survivors, single mothers, and more. Thank you for caring!
As the needs in the Holy Land escalate, your continued support can provide food, housing, job training, and financial aid to those who are struggling.

Transforming a Little Girl’s Life
She was born with a deformity in her left shoulder. The pain was so great that Sakshi could not brush her own hair or get dressed by herself. Because Sakshi was bullied and teased cruelly at school, her parents decided to let their little girl stay home.
“Our hearts break for her,” her mother said. “We cannot afford to get her the medical attention she needs.”
India. Thanks to generous friends like you, we were able to arrange a surgery for her at no charge.
“Our daughter is completely fine now, and I am so happy. She plays outside with the other children, and she has returned to school,” her mother gratefully expressed. “You good people have supported us a lot. I am very thankful for everyone who helped us.”
BLESSING OUR HEROES
CBN partners provide an unexpected blessing to military family
They make the perfect team. E5 Sgt. Andrew serves at the Fort Campbell base in Kentucky while his wife, M.J., cares for their three kids. But for a family of this size, money is quickly spent on food, clothing—and emergencies.
When $2,000 went to repair a broken HVAC system, there wasn’t much left for a fourth child on the way. Yet, God came through when a military organization informed CBN’s Helping the Home Front of this family’s struggles.
Not only was the couple compensated for the HVAC system, but they were able to buy everything they needed for a precious newborn—all thanks to generous partners! “The Father is faithful,” Andrew declared. M.J. added, “I want to thank the partners for giving in order for us to receive these blessings.”
Through CBN’s Operation Blessing , you made it possible to help rebuild the lives of Hurricane Ian survivors in Florida, while also launching aid to Typhoon Noru victims in the Philippines.
For over 60 years, CBN has seen the power of the Gospel transform the lives of men, women, and children throughout the world. Thanks to our wonderful partners, our mission to share the message of God’s love is being fulfilled in countless ways. Everywhere eyes are drawn to a screen, CBN is making the Bible readily available to today’s generation—including Na Phu in Myanmar.
When her parents divorced, this 7-year-old girl dealt with anger and unforgiveness until a local church introduced her to CBN Animation’s Superbook. In her Sunday school class, she watched the story of Nehemiah and learned the importance of being patient and forgiving others. As a result, her relationship with Christ has never been stronger.
Within the fun realm of Superbook, children across the globe can explore God’s Word through the Superbook Kids Bible app —one of our favorite platforms for communicating God’s livesaving message to the world, including areas where the Bible is not easily accessible. Over time, this little app has seen big results. Since it was first launched in 2013, the app has shown over 24 million downloads. Not only are children able to enjoy wholesome, Christ-centered entertainment, but they can freely access an easyto-follow Bible. And since 2017,
over 800,000 viewers indicated they prayed to receive Christ after watching the Gospel presentation.
In Nigeria, one parent raved: “This app is what every parent needs for their children! I am so relieved that my child can find God’s Word on the internet and be entertained by it.”
Superbook helped Na Phu grow in her relationship with God.
A resident in the U.S. exclaimed, “This app is a gold mine! It has all of the episodes of Superbook. I got this app for myself since I’m new to Christianity. It’s incredible.”
And all the way from Russia, Elizaveta, said, “I’m very thankful for this app! God spoke to me through the daily Bible verses.”
Partners like you are also winning souls to Christ through your faithful support of The 700 Club , which broadcasts the Gospel over the air and into the hearts of people—like Jessica in Texas.

self-destruction. She started using drugs and was soon trapped in a life of vice and sin. Her distrust of men eventually led to an interest in women. Feeling trapped in her own bondage, Jessica desperately cried out to God for help. Later, when Jessica was leaving the house, a voice on TV stopped her in her tracks. The 700 Club was on television, and Pat Robertson was inviting viewers to receive Christ. That day, Jessica exchanged her struggles for a Savior.
Jessica recalled.
As Jessica grew closer to God, she was free from drugs and her past. She now tells others the Good News Jesus gave to her.
The power of prayer is timeless. That’s why the CBN Prayer Center is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, because of your ongoing support. Last year, staff received over 1.6 million calls, including 2,400 confessions of faith. One staff member remembered a caller from Puerto Rico, saying, “She was suicidal and had swallowed some sleeping pills. I prayed and made sure she was awake for help to arrive. … She was rescued and is now living for Christ.”
But your compassion doesn’t stop there. You’re also helping to feed the hungry, provide clean water to the thirsty, supply medical aid to the sick, offer relief to disaster victims, and most of all, give those who are lost a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

WASTING TIME With Worry?
Check out these practical tips for a peaceful mind
Watch
Do you often find yourself weighed down with worry? It’s understandable in today’s world, but it’s not the best way to navigate life. After all, God wants you to live abundantly with Him. So, what can you do to foster a better change of mind?
According to Dr. Monica Vermani, author of A Deeper Wellness: Conquering Stress, Mood, Anxiety, and Traumas , “the first step to treatment is awareness. It’s important for us to slow down, pause, and reflect.”
She emphasizes the importance of being kind to yourself and to remember that you do have the ability to handle life. “Give yourself some credit for how far you’ve grown, how much you’ve learned, and how much skill set you possess.”
“Secondly,” she says, “I think it’s important
for us to recognize worry is a thought that you pull from thin air and you give it life.” What a great image for this concept!
Dr. Vermani continues, “Our thoughts go into two places. They go into the past, which is regrets—looking at things from the past and comparing them to the present. Or the future, which is uncertainty. It hasn’t happened yet. It’s your imagination.”
She then poses this key question: “If you’re going to imagine something, why aren’t we imagining best-case scenarios versus worst-case scenarios?”
Therefore, as we capture our thoughts and cast all worries onto Jesus, we are free to choose those best-case scenarios and live that full life He died to give us.

YOUR QUESTIONS, HONEST ANSWERS
WITH PAT ROBERTSONQIs “once saved always saved” true? Is it possible to lose salvation after falling into sin?
AThe Bible never says, “once saved always saved.” It’s like riding a bicycle. We can’t say, “Well, I know how to ride a bicycle, so I don’t have to pump the pedals.” We have to stay the course. If we walk in the light, as He is in the light, the blood of Christ continuously cleanses us from all sin.
We also can’t say, “I can live any way I want to because I know I’m going to go to heaven.” I think that is very dangerous. And the Bible never said anything like it.
David said, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10 esv). Although he committed adultery and had a man murdered, God forgave him. We can be forgiven too. And that’s the main thing: that we are cleansed and returned to the fullness of God’s Spirit.

DEDICATING OURSELVES TO OUR FATHER AND KING
14:15
By Gordon Robertson President and CEOAs the new year begins, I’m reminded of a prayer Jewish people use during Rosh Hashanah, their traditional new year. It calls people to return to God and is translated “Our Father, Our King.”
As Christians, we use the phrase, “My Lord and Savior.” Often, we focus more on our Savior who is merciful, forgiving, and loving—rather than on Him as our Lord, who died to take the punishment for our sins and deserves our heartfelt obedience. When we truly make Him our Lord and Savior, we do both, and we echo this prayer. If He is your King, you wouldn’t think of disobeying Him.
Jesus tells His followers in John 14:15, “If you love me, obey my commandments.” That’s key for us as Christians. It is our loving service to Him to be obedient children of the Most High God. So during the coming year, let us strive to be obedient out of love and gratitude to Him. And when we miss the mark, we can pray, “Father, forgive us. We did not obey you as our King.”
Here is a version of “Our Father, Our King” that I’ve adapted and translated:
Our Father, our King, we have sinned before You.
Our Father, our King, we have no King but You.
Our Father, our King, be kind to us for the sake of Your Name.
Our Father, our King, bless us with a good year.
Our Father, our King, stop the plague from reaching us.
Our Father, our King, pardon and forgive all our iniquities.
Our Father, our King, blot out and remove our transgressions from before Your eyes.
Our Father, our King, erase all record of our sins.
Our Father, our King, bring us back to You in wholehearted repentance.
Our Father, our King, send complete healing to the sick of Your people.
Our Father, our King, remember us with favor before You.
Our Father, bless us so that we rise from being servants, and become Your children again. May we be written in Your Book of Life. Amen.
Scripture is quoted from the NLT. Adapted from a teaching on The 700 Club.
