REACHING CHILDREN

W RLD Courage for Luciano Superbook episode transforms a boy’s shyness Seven-year-old Luciano loved superheroes but, unlike his favorite characters, he was shy. He didn’t like to spend time with other children, and he hated going to Sunday school because his parents left him there with so many others. Then, the teachers at Luciano’s church in Mexico began using CBN’s Superlibro (Superbook) material. Luciano identified a lot with the story “A Giant Adventure” because young David was filled with courage when he defeated a giant and killed a lion. After seeing the episode, Luciano prayed and asked God to help him be brave like David. He soon began to change. Luciano became more social, and he now enjoys spending time with his classmates. Superlibro continues to touch Luciano’s life as he watches episodes on YouTube at home with his brother.

At the age of 3, doctors diagnosed Santiago with a severe form of autism. The little boy was living with his parents, grandmother, and his younger brother in Mexico. And the news was devastating for his loved ones. Doctors explained that Santiago would never be able to speak or attend school. His family, however, chose to believe God for a miracle. Through constant prayer, they realized that God was working, and Santiago began to speak a few words! He also started watching episodes of Superlibro—the Spanish-language version of Superbook—and would shout “Amen!” With help from therapy, Santiago is slowly learning to speak more. He has even begun praying a few words. His mother is delighted with how God has transformed Santiago’s life.
YOUR LOVE IS TRANSFORMNG THE WORLD UNITED KINGDOM For the second year in a row, CBN Animation’s Superbook team in the United Kingdom sponsored the kids’ tent at the Big Church Festival, which attracts over 20,000 attendees every year. Big Church Festival is the largest annual Christian gathering in the United Kingdom. BRAZIL Superbook Brazil’s YouTube channel has reached 1 million subscribers.
INDIA CBN organized its annual three-day Superbook summer camp with the theme “Victory Over Battles.” This online event drew over 90 kids across India. The camp aimed to inspire children with the Word of God by teaching them valuable lessons from people like David, Rahab, and Moses. They also discovered how to achieve victory in their life with God’s guidance.
CAMBODIA In April 2023, the Superbook team in Cambodia worked with 44 churches to present the Gospel message to more than 1,400 children. This resulted in 170 children indicating a profession of faith in Christ. PHILIPPINES The Superbook team’s TikTok account in the Philippines showed a huge increase of 11 million video views in May 2023 compared to 1.7 million views from the previous month.

That’s why Gordon Robertson created CBN Animation—with the goal of bringing children to Christ—and the results have been stunning!
The explosion of internet access and mobile phone usage in developing countries has resulted in an unprecedented number of salvations. There have been 1 billion views on our Superbook YouTube channels—and most of these views are from this animated series. Also, a projected 435 million people watched a Superbook episode last year. That’s five percent of the world’s population! Thanks to your generous support, lives are being changed every day.
Timo in Indonesia
Eleven-year-old Timo was confused about religion. His mother was a Christian, but his father followed a non-Christian faith. Timo shared, “It was hard for me.” One day, this young boy accepted an invitation to visit an after-school program supported by CBN’s Orphan’s Promise where he began watching Superbook. The story of Jesus dying on the cross gripped his heart. “After watching it, I realized that I am a kid who has sinned,” he said. Timo then prayed to receive Christ. “I prayed, ‘God, please forgive me for my sins, ’” he recalled. “I also prayed, ‘Jesus, I invite You to come into my heart to be my Lord and my Savior.’” Timo says that prayer brought him peace, and his life hasn’t been the same since. Andriy in Ukraine
Andriy was only 12 years old, but he smoked, drank, and was filled with anger. He did not believe in God and used to hate the church and Christians. Andriy had watched his father accept Christ as his Savior before he passed away from cancer. The minister who led his father to Christ began to care for Andriy’s family. He introduced Andriy to Superbook, and it had a profound impact on him. While Andriy once hated the church, he now attends regularly. “God is my heavenly Father,” he said. “I will be with God because I believe in Jesus.”
Reaksa in Cambodia
Ten-year-old Reaksa lived with her grandparents after her parents abandoned her. This precious girl was devastated by her parents’ abandonment. “I was feeling lonely—like no one loved me,” she said. CBN’s Operation Blessing was installing a clean water source in her village and showed Reaksa an episode of Superbook. “Through it, I realized that God really loves me,” she explained. After watching that one episode, Reaksa said she prayed to become Christian. “Before I became a Christian, my grandparents gave me a Buddha bracelet. They said it would protect me. I asked my teacher to cut it off. I told my grandparents, ‘I now believe in Jesus as my Savior.’” Her grandparents weren’t happy about Reaksa

Now, Reaksa loves sharing Jesus with others. “I took two of my friends to church with me on Sunday, and now they all believe in Jesus too,” she said. “I thank God for Superbook for helping me and my friends to know Jesus!” Proverbs 22:6 says, Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it (nkjv). Timo, Andryi, and Reaksa will forever remember the way you introduced them to Jesus and changed their lives forever. Timo and Andryi are excited to share their newfound faith.

GOD TOUCHED HER HEART In Vietnam, Sung was captivated by Superbook!
Twelve-year-old Sung, who lives in Vietnam, had grown to be disrespectful toward her parents. She talked back to them, was disobedient, and became lazy. Then she started watching CBN Animation’s Superbook at the church she attended. In Sunday school, her teacher showed episodes of Superbook to explain the lessons—and those visual stories from Scripture captivated her. Soon, this young girl had learned about Jonah and Daniel, and she was touched by their lives. The Holy Spirit was working on her heart. God’s Word had shown Sung a better way to live, and she responded. Soon after, she asked for forgiveness from her parents and made the decision to love those around her. Thanks to caring partners, children like Sung can experience the stories of the Bible and pray to receive Christ.
