I read something I rather be able to hear the person writing it. We are not out to look all fancy and shit. We just wanna be a s real as we can and stay positive and share the Love God has given us to share with our fellow neighbor. So with that said, let me continue. A lil over 4 years ago, I was introduced to the Biker Community through a different Biker Publishing Company as a Distribution Manger and partner in the Company. So, when the first publication came out I went out and deliver 90 % of it myself. It Covered from Bakersfield to Manteca over to Monterey then on down to Santa Barbara. It took me 5 days and about 1,000 miles to do this and I met some of the friendliest and genuine folks in my life. I was welcomed in everywhere I went with open arms. At the moment in my Life I know how the stereotype of Bikers was All Wrong and The World needs to Know that and I had made the Right Decision to join in running the magazine with them. Well like most things time tells all and I was not happy with where I was at. I loved what we set out to do, but we were not attending any events or nothing. I was going as an induvial since my partners would not support it and I know then something had t change. I was talking with friends I had made in the Biker commu-

Keyes Kustom Kreations Bree Keyes WRITER When I first started my business, I was 20 years old and just had my first child. It was called Bree’s Crafts 4 You at the time. The business wasn’t much and didn’t expect to be where I am today. It started out doing custom jewelry for my family because I really couldn’t afford expensive gifts. My mom always like the homemade stuff we did as kids and told us that was a better gift than anything. So, I took my mom’s advice and started making stuff on my own hoping others would appreciate my work as much as my mom did. Little did I know they would.

As time went on, I added more crafts to the business and it grew. I make custom jewelry, crochet earmuffs and scarves, decorate wines bottles, paint letters for rooms, make homemade body scrubs, homemade wreaths and so much more. I had created a Facebook page to display and advertise my beautiful hard work. I met my now husband about 7 years ago and told him my dreams of owning my own business. Since he owns his own business, he knew how hard it would be, but has been supporting me on my dream and has joined forces with me to help the business excel. Our gifts are perfect for any occasion.

husband and kids help me. As a small business you have to weigh your options of going to an event. You have to see if there will be enough people attending the event and what the fee is. I have broken even numerous times, but you will have those days where you end up making money and it is certainly exciting. It helps motivate you and get you thinking of more ideas and places to go. My husband and I decided that it was time for a name change after almost 14 years of Bree’s Crafts 4 You. We sell much more than custom products. We added pocket knives, flags, biker rings, women’s rings and defense pins. Our inventory is growing more and more every day. We decided on Keyes Kustom Kreations to better suit the rounding of our business. So, a new Facebook page has been created and I will be transferring everything over. Same great products and service, but with an awesome new name and a new location! I am looking forward to the new challenges and blessing that will be coming our way with the years to come.

I do vendor booths where ever I can, not just online. I have been to Auberry, Paso Robles, Squaw Valley and Coalinga to name a few. For a vendor, it is not easy work. The set up and take down is time consuming and its hard work for an all- My goals are to be able to continday process. I am ue crafting so I can make my own lucky to have my hours to spend with my family.

Crafting for me is very therapeutic. It lets my imagination create any project I want. It started out as a stress reliever for a new single mom and blossomed into an awesome business. I am grateful to the clients I already have and the ones to come. I hope to expand the business and be able to have my own store, which is in the works right now. So, if you want to check out our products you can visit me at www.facebook. com/KeyesKustomKreations. We now have our business cards that will give you a discount! Tulare Ag Expo 2020 Bree Keyes WRITER Well folks, the Tulare Ag Expo was a success again as the weather was perfect and the vibe was welcoming. The Ag Expo started in 1968 with an amount of 28,000 attendees. Quickly out growing its location, it settled in Tulare, California in 1982. Where it sits now is 2.6 million square feet of land for vendors and buildings for exhibits. I don’t know about you, but that is a lot of walking! Back in 2017, the World Expo celebrated its 50th anniversary. Now in 2020 people are still coming from all over the world to see what the Ag industry has to offer. The Expo is the largest annual agricultural exposition with more than 1,400 exhibitors displays and the newest ag equipment. Last year foreign

visitors from 56 countries visited the expo and 106,357 visitors from as far as Italy came to enjoy modern technology. This year is very special. They hosted the first annual Hemp Innovation Challenge. This was designed to help the Hemp industry grow bigger and support the people that are deciding to grow it. Hemp is used in a variety of things ranging from oils, lotions, Chapstick and clothing. CBD oil comes from the Hemp plants and makes up about 40% of the plant. CBD is used in pain management in humans and in pets. It has been proven to help people that pills no longer do the job. Hemp is also used in making clothing. Pretty much every part of the plant is used to not waste

any of it. Discovering CBD oil in 1940, people never realized how big it would become today. There is money to be made in this industry and with the help of the expo it can become better understood and accepted. With the event at the expo, people were educated on the benefits of hemp, CBD and how to wisely invest. With many vendors and buildings to choose from, some people were there for a purpose and some people just wanted to see the amazing products the vendors had to offer. There were trams and other drivers to help you get around the show. I know we didn’t hesitate to take the tram. From self-driving sprayers in the fields to harvesting equipment to water irrigation systems there was something for every farmer to drool over. The ma-

chines these days were amazing to see and of course for our 9-year-old son to climb on. It was every boy’s dream to walk by the machinery and “oooo and ahhhh” at. My cousins’ shop was out there as well. Morgan and Sates has specialized in ag equipment for over 40 years. They have 2 locations in Hanford California to help with farmer’s needs, from welding and fabrication to steels and equipment for your farming needs. The food smelled great from nachos to tri tip to something that smelled like grilled onions. Oh my! I was drooling up a storm! This place had everything and I was happy I attended for my first time. Bree Keyes WRITER Well folks, it’s that time of the year again! This will be the first big Sand Drag Race of the season here in the valley, with racers traveling from the western states including New Mexico and Washington. This would be the largest Sand Drag event on the West Coast. There are two dates that this awesome event will be going on. One is in April, starting this season off with a green light and then in October. Some of us were able to go last year in October and it was my first time going. It was amazing!!! The vibrations in my chest and the adrenaline rush was so exciting. I can’t wait to go again!

The race track started in 2002. It quickly became a hot spot for people to see sand drags. I have been to a smaller track, but nothing like this one. This one is for the big boys! They would like to thank their sponsors: C & K Harvesting, Papich Construction Inc, MidValley Disposal, Avenal Lumbar, Quality Machinery, Bueno Beverage and Waste Connections. Friday and Saturday they will have a Gambler class and Sportsman Class along with qualifying for Pro Classes. Sunday they will have Jr and Peewee classes followed by Pro Class eliminations. In October they will have another race on Halloween weekend with kid activities.
