CC Biker & Motorsports Well here we are rounding the corner for another Labor Day holiday; I’d like to say thanks to all of you working people who have contributed to our great country with hard work and sweat. But let us back it up a bit and see how we really got here. The actual holiday began largely in thanks to the Labor Union Movement which was formed in the mid 1800’s as a response to the Industrial Revolution. The fact that the workers rallied together and formed a march of 10,000 people on September 9, 1882 in Manhattan in protest of poor working conditions at that time is a pretty

amazing feat. During this time the average workday was 10 to 12 hours long, 6 or 7 days a week, harsh conditions by anyone’s standard. Steel, Machinists, laborers, farmworkers, miners, all hard work and not many choices for a career path. Poverty was widespread and child labor became prominent in factories, mines and fields; children as young as 3 years old worked long hours in dangerous conditions. Child labor was popular because they were paid less, didn’t organize into unions and due to their small stature were able to manuver and complete tasks their adult counterparts couldn’t. Big win for business but a big loss for the children who were unable to attend school, these children grew into a cycle of poverty which many were unable to break away from. Child labor continued until the Great Depression when men were desperate for any work and the majority of child labor ceased in America. During this time labor forces were in dire straits, massive layoffs, government

After that we drive on into Sturgis to just see the town. Was amazed on how many bikers were still in town since the event had been close a couple days before we even got there. I bet we seen at least 100 bikers still there. Sturgis was about the halfway mark. So, from there we just made plans to just continue on to get to Ohio. The view was

So between Illinois to Ohio we spent about $20.00 to just drive right on through their state. That was rather disappointing, but we do what we have to do.We made it here within 3 days and sure felt

way up through the ranks. When the Viet Nam conflict broke out, Sergeant First Class Tilley went over as a member of the exclusive Special Forces Green Beret. He put his life in danger virtually every day as a platoon member on combat patrols. He helped lead his men through some of the roughest terrain on Earth, in a country where you couldn’t be sure if the person approaching you was an ally or an enemy. His calm demeanor and extreme courage made it possible for him to lead young men into dangerous situations, knowing they could depend on him to get them out. On February 7, 1967, Tilley’s bravery was at its most apparent. During a routine patrol, he and his platoon were attacked by a much larger group of Viet Cong soldiers. While the platoon leader ordered a retreat, Tilley covered them so they could reach an area where they could set up a defensive perimeter. During the battle the platoon leader was killed, and Tilley took over. He directed his men in battle and called in for air support, all the time firing his weapon and tending to those men who were wounded. As the men prepared to be picked up by helicopter, Sergeant Tilley single-handedly attacked the enemy with a vengeance, firing his weapon and throwing grenades, while his men safely reached the evacuation site. He then returned to the site of battle to ensure the wounded men were carried out and the bodies of those killed recovered before he climbed aboard the helicopter himself.

Tilley’s actions that day saved the lives of numerous young soldiers, and he was awarded the Silver Star and the Distinguished Service Cross for his efforts. These were just two of the numerous medals this hero received during his long and distinguished career, and he certainly deserved many more. He put his life on the line many times, to protect the freedom that many of us take for granted. To listen to him speak of it, however, it was

mask you’re basically killing your children, your neighbors and your grandparents; the other side wants you to believe that wearing one does absolutely does nothing to prevent people from becoming infected if you do not wear one. Personally I believe that if you are healthy and not in extremely close contact with someone who is at high risk of death from the disease (a person with the underlying conditions) then why should you be forced to wear one? As an asthmatic, masks cause me more trouble than they prevent. People with chronic lung disease need fresh air, and breathing in the air you just breathed out into the mask doesn’t cut it. If I’m around someone who I know has problems, I’ll wear one as long as I’m in their vicinity, out of respect for them, not out of fear for a virus. But no one should be forced to wear a mask! Did we learn nothing from the Nazi’s in the late 1930’s and early 40’s? What will people do when they’re told that in order to protect their health, they need to be transferred to a “camp”? Will they willingly hop on the boxcar? Have we really become that stupid? If you feel frightened or threatened by the virus, by all means, wear a mask. Stay home. Do what you have to do to make yourself feel safe. Just don’t expect everyone else to join you!

media. But go have lunch in the dining room of Taco Bell or Applebee’s and you’re either going to spread or contact the infection? Stop and have a beer at the corner bar and you’re going to be crawling with germs? Seriously?

People need to wake up. This entire virus is a ploy to overthrow our country, and stop the re-election of the first president in decades to try to actually help the country more than he helps himself. The economy was booming, for everyone (everyone who wanted to work, at least), before this “virus” shut everything down. The left’s feeble attempts to impeach the person who was exposing their corruption had failed, and they needed something, anything, to bring him down. Their propaganda machine, the mainstream media, found the story of the virus and ran with it. When people were becoming obviously tired of the rhetoric, social justice became the narrative. And since then, the two have combined for the perfect storm, one biological virus and one sociological virus, with the intention of taking down our President and stopping him from exposing the vile deeds being done by the life-long politicians, high-powered businessmen and women, and over-rated celebrities; stopping him from “Making America Great Again”. Sixty million people during the previous administration and not one mask, not one shutdown, not one forced stimulus packThe media has ignored the fact age….things that make you go that people are rioting in our “hmmm”. Wake up, America, bestreets, not socially distancing, fore it’s too late. My guess is this in the name of social justice; and virus will disappear after Noveminstead blamed the spread of the ber 4, 2020….get out and vote, virus on bars and smoke shops? and make sure the virus known Ridiculous! Rioters being labeled as fake news and socialism also as “peaceful protesters” burning, disappear! Don’t believe what looting and assaulting people, they’re spoon feeding you; do marching shoulder-to-shoulder your research and find out for in the streets, and yet they’re yourself that you’re being lied to. fine, not spreading the virus at “OUR RIGHTS SHALL NOT BE all, according to the propagan- INFRINGED UPON” da show known as main-stream
