On July 30,2022, CC Biker Motorsports Newspaper, went to Madera Ford, for a Backpack Giveaway put together by Mitch Riegelhuth, to kids from kin dergarten up to middle school grades. As the line began to grow Madera Ford went handing out donuts to the families waiting in Itline.was a warm day, but it was all worth it to see the faces on the kids from all ages and parents faces, as they got to pick out a backpack. All the kids had a big variety to pick from, and the little ones had such cute backpacks.

Mitch, Madera Ford and Sierra Valley Almonds put a lot of love and thought into getting what kids might like and love to have. They had some supplies in each backpack to get them started for each grade. And the Girl Scout were there helping as well, and handing out books for all kids, what a wonderful way to start a new year for these kids. With a new backpack and with supplies and new books to start reading of their Whatown.they didn’t give away Madera Ford said they were going to give to schools or to anyone that needs a backpack, there was a lady that came by asking if she could get some for a childcare they run because a lot of the families can’t afford back packs for there kids, so they let her know after the event to come back and they would give her a Thisfew. is the kind of love and giving back we need in are commu nity thank you Madera Ford, for blessing these kids and making them have a wonderful year. And doing it another year. These kids and parents are so happy to have people like you all, God bless you all. Thanks again to Mitch Riegel huth for all you do for others….

Harley when that pine air hits your helmet it makes your nostrils dance in delight as you feel that cooler temperature drop instantly from our normal warm climate. The towering forest trees and narrow windy road quickly reminded me I was no longer home and transported to our gor geous backyard forest. Even the dirt smelled good as this lil rider continued her journey. Hearing the wind as I rode, with no music it reminded me of crashing waves, a constant zen that just vibrated my soul. Fluffy white clouds and bright blue sky made the perfect ceiling for this rider. I admit I was a bit skeptical of this event as I had never really been around this circle yet. I was aware though that Aimee was a former

Taco Tuesday is a phrase we all hold dear to hearts and are very familiar with. Well at least this lil rider/writer does. I finally got to hang with the infamous “Squids” group on a Taco Tuesday as we went to Shaver Lake “The Hungry OnHut.”my

No county rednecks party

On August 13, 2022, Richard from CC biker and Motorsports Newspaper, and I left at 7:30am to head up to Shaver Lake, Ca. to go to party and listen to some good music from No County Red necks. And to hear them play their new songs. That morning you could feel the heat already Fresno. But driving up there had the A/C and listening to some good county music and taking in the scenery going up and the A/C making use forget all about heat outside. As we got closer to Shaver Lake, the weather got cooler and the widows went down, as we took in the nice clean mountain air. It was sad to see all the beauti ful trees destroyed from all the fires. But all it was a beautiful ride up. As we headed into Shaver Lake, cars were lined up to pay to get in. As we got to where No County Rednecks, were, there were people already there having fun. Music playing and American flags were in the air. As we went to say hi, they said we could sit with them and that was awesome and kick back with them all. They had floating devices for kids, kayaks for people to use, some people brought out boats, and bounce floating devices to play on. Kids and the adults were having a wonderful time other people came to hang out with No County Rednecks County, singers, there are so down to earth people, treat everyone like family. As we started taking pic tures there was a big flag hang ing on their tent. It was amazing and shows what they really say about the way they feel and love the county, respect this county and who are and are fighting for it, to give use the freedom to live free, it also shows in their music as well, respect this county and who fought to give you this free dom, and who live here, as we should, not fight among each other, give love, care, and be kind and to help one another in need. As the day was warming up, but better then Fresno. There were more and more people showing up. As the played and the people and kids played in the water and enjoying in the water and enjoy ing the time around everyone. Everyone had fun playing Corn Hole, even people that wasn’t with the group came to play and enjoy the fun and to try to win a prize. Richard sucks at playing Whencornhole.itwas getting time to start to cook Some of the guys from the people with No County Red necks, went up and down the area to everyone in the area let ting them now there making tacos and are more than welcome to come get a plate and eat with use or take it for the whole families

Aimee having a background in military and business also stated that even with her husband he was the first who was not inti mated and did not have a bad attitude that women belonged as a back pack only. He stated it was a relief he didn’t have to be responsible for another life while he was riding and they have been riding ever since. Now if that isn’t true love what is. Aimee also has a “Tip Toe Gang in the 559” on facebook exclu sively for female riders to support girl power on motorcycles and change the norm that we are not out there. I was blessed to net work with yet another group as I learned more of the motorcy cle community and once again was welcomed warmly and had a great night…just simply riding. Can’t go wrong with chasing sun sets on your motorcycle to end a long work day, that’s God’s hand in that sky, I just know it.

Times change though and in 2014 there was a group of 20 riders with Aimee that would often ride in Fresno together and pre facebook times of being so media known you didn’t have to use your real name of Facebook.

Aimee hoped they could teach local riders how to respect others and learn motorcycle life in a safer premise and pay it forward to others. Aimee became the “Mama Squid” when Facebook started enforcing real names as part of their policies and she was listed the admin to this facebook group. She reflects that in a 90 day period she was pulled over by Fresno and Clovis PD over 59 times for various things like stock pipe was a box under the bike didn’t have a pipe, to not having a painted windscreen, unlawful lane change and other minor things. Over time her name changed to Queen Squid when her own children started riding Themotorcycles.Squids had evolved and grown now over the years and as more moved away from life’s demands, more moved in so the circle kept thriving. Still as a tra dition every Tuesday they go to different mom and pop taco trucks or food stops to just hang, talk shop and ride as a group. Aimee reports “we try to find low cost eating places because we know we are usually young with little money just wanting to enjoy riding.” With bills, gas prices and inflation one can always appreci ate that sentiment. Riders on this Squid facebook group can now post for help from tows, to service, riders down, accidents, selling bikes, and just a shoutout to a rider spotted or invite to a ride plan. Since Covid Aimee has learned to network with Dave Moss of Dave Moss Tuning as he helps with tuning and sus pension of bikes and he comes 3x a year now to her house assist the riders. Less accidents on the roads has also been noticed on this page as the goal of the group is to save lives and help these young riders evolve into older riders. “We have all made mis takes they have or will, and lived. We accept cruisers, dual sports, sport bikes, groms and harley’s into the group as it’s a big melting pot of people with the single goal of loving 2 or 3 wheels.”

Aimee Stearns, the leader of the Squids group even stated the “word Squid is seen in today’s life style as a bad word. It’s looked on as insult or slam. As in the days of racing clubs as it was a term for a young rider that like to watch the older riders race at rallies. The younger kids would have little or no gear often and were inexpe rienced as crashes were bound and did happen. It was term the older riders would use to bring the kid up in this world.”

a long trip,

After leaving California, I got to see things I never knew were there, I was in aww, to the feel ing of the flat land, to the hills to the Salt Lake, to county lands. To what all I can say is the beauty of nature has made for use all to enjoy. Seeing lots of wildlife and antelope and their babies drink ing at a creek. My mind wondered just wanted to get out everywhere to just to enjoy every little place. Even though we didn’t stop, I have the beautiful pictures in my mind. Because we never would ever have made it to Sturgis if I stopped every place I wanted to, just to look and take in the scenery. As we got to Sturgis, there was so many bikes lined up, side by CA 93722 (559)
