“Darrell Whitaker, Gone But Not Forgotten”
I don’t even know where to begin… So I guess I’ll just begin. Darrel’s wife Nettie asked me to write something about him for CC Biker. I’ve been trying for a few weeks now and every time I sat down to do it I couldn’t. I dunno why ‘cuz I usually have something to say about everything, just ask me.
I think Darrell would get a kick out of that. If you knew Darrell you know what a solid man he was and still is to those of us who know we will see him again. Nettie knew it and after allowin’ Darrell to chase her around for a bit she decided to let him marry her on November 17, 2007. She also knew Darrell had something in him that couldn’t be tamed, and she didn’t want him to tame it.
So, on December 31, 2009
Darrell became a full patch member of The UNDERLORDS MC Fresno. Darrell had already earned the respect of The Club and the community by being a stand-up Brother and all-around solid guy.
From the moment I met him 2 years earlier I knew I liked him and was very proud to call him my Brother. I know he made an impact on a lot of people’s lives because he was relatable and easy to talk to… If he had something to say he said it whether you wanted to hear it or not. I know that firsthand. I could always count on Darrell to be a voice of reason for me…
You could always count on Darrell for a good party, especially a Fourth of July Party! You knew there was gonna be a huge water slide, great food and fireworks for hours! Good ones too if ya know what I mean… Darrell being the way Darrell was, I’m sure that a lot of folks may not know that The End of Summer Super Bash benefit for Valley Childrens Hospital Craycroft Cancer Center was Darrells idea. He wanted to give back to the community, so he figured out a way. I know he is proud of the help that Our

I have the pleasure of being a patched in member of the best forever family in the universe! We are Broke Chains, a missionary recovery bike group who reaches out to those who have any type of hurt habit or hang up they want to turn over to God! You do not have to be a rider to join either!
If you come in contact with us, you will find a warm welcoming environment not full of contempt or judgement but full of hope and love and true compassion! So many lives have been transformed and eyes opened in the bike community by the outreach that goes on.
The only thing we require is that a person join a 12 step recovery program but a vast majority of us come from different celebrate recovery groups because we do not all have a past drug or alcohol addiction but we ALL have hurts, habits, or hang ups we need to work on fixing! There is no better recovery from any trauma in life than when you have a forever family there to support you, encourage you,
and hold you accountable! Our founder was very much into drugs and drinking and for a lack of better terms gang style bike life for many years of his life. He is not proud of the things he did in his past but he does tell his story so others can see where he came from
and where he is today! One day he decided he needed a change and so he founded this group and has helped so many all over the USA see that you CAN be a biker and NOT be into drugs or alcohol and yes you can follow Gods words and still have tattoos
and motorcycles.
As I personally attended my first ever west coast rally only knowing about 5 out of the hundreds who were there, I felt at peace and immediately

Club and the other Clubs and friends involved were able to provide for those youngsters at the hospital.
Darrell Whitaker was taken from us April 28th 2023. He was diagnosed with cancer barely two months before. His last thoughts were not of himself, they were of his wife Nettie, his family, his dogs, his Brothers and his motorcycle… Darrell wanted to make sure we were all going to be alright. Because that is the kinda man he is. Darrell loved his family. Family was everything to him. His nieces and
nephews meant the world to him. Darrell loved his dogs and he loved making good shine. If you had the privilege of sippin on one of “Uncle D’s” jars you know exactly what I mean. Smooooth!
Darrell loved his motorcycle and he loved The Club and we loved him right back. I know a lot of you feel the same way I do, like something is missing. I feel like I have a hole in my heart and I miss him everyday. We love you Brother. Ride Fast Take Chances and hold it down with The Brothers till we get there. ‘Till Valhalla! Love and Respect - Ray

Screaming Demons MC 19th Annual Shovelhead Run

On May 13th, 2023, it was the 19th annual Shovelhead Run for Screamin Demons Mc.
The morning started off in Fresno with everyone meeting up and getting signed in. The comradery was upbeat and everyone from the different MC’s mingling while they waited for the run to start.
Kick stands up was called and the rumble of at least a hundred bikes could be heard. They rolled out and off we went to a few bars before ending up back at the club house in Sanger.
They had a nice lunch and a live band and a DJ. People from different groups sat together and visited and lots of laughs and good conversations took

accepted! Everyone was so welcoming and treated me like the family we are! We talked and encouraged one another and I was volunteered to sing on stage (I could have said no) and was totally included in every part of this awesome experience! I left there encouraged, up lifted, and loaded with new friends/ family who will forever have my back and keep me pushing forward!
I can honestly say this was an experience like no other and I grew up in church and church groups, but this is totally not the same! No condemnation, no judgment, just love and support!

I have been to several events with this group over the past year and I can say they truly support some good causes and are a welcoming group of people.

We are a community so my hope is someday ALL bikers will respect each other and simply get along, up lift, encourage, and support each other!

I know many of you in the bike groups and I am in no way condemning or putting you down! I know from my own personal experience that life
