Celebrating the Life of Nash Delgado

Losing a person and grief is often the toughest thing to go through in our life and is a process that can take weeks, months or even years. I have lost my parents’ friends and now the love of my life, Nash Delgado.

It has been a little over two months since his passing away from the last time I seen him and kissed him goodbye. Nash and I knew we had very little time together left since we met and found out he had cancer two years ago. Nash was going through much pain and many health issues since I have met him, but we went through it together no matter what because of my love for him, and he loved me, and we enjoyed the time we did have together in the two years together even though weren’t married we had planned on getting married but time got away from us.

Nash and I met at a bike night event for the first time ever for me to be at a bike night, but it wasn’t for him. Nash was in a bike club Redrum. I was not invited by him to sit at his table, it was someone else who invited me to sit at their table by another person. But I did politely ask if it was okay to sit at his table. Nash looked at me with his beautiful smile he said yes, come sit with me. His first words to me were “Hi my name is, Nash”, like a Joey Moment from Friends then asking me, Como De llamas and of course I smiled and said, in my Spanglish Me Allamo Carolina. It was like a night a will never forget because my table reservation was not set or ready for me by the manager at the time, I arrived to bike night. So, it must have been a fate night for both of us because only God knows why he put us together.

From that night on we just spent every day and minute with each

other. “God Knew My Heart Needed Him” At first, I thought his bike club was like a gang or murderers, but he explained that they were not, it was just the way it was spelled backwards, and they are not a gang. I laughed and he said, I was the most beautiful, spirited lady he ever met, I was becoming the love of his life. Nash and I did not always have sweet crazy love or cookies and cream moments we had other issues which was not a secret to everyone, but we loved each other not matter what so we created a password to let us know we can talk about it later “Bazinga” from the big bang theory laugh out load. It was our word and we let everyone know it was ours, but they could barrow it if they felt a need to use it in a heated or comfy moment.

The Redrum club is a very close family of men and woman brothers and sisters who are the warriors for the people Ingenious people of missing woman and children. Every bike run we did was for the community of helping others, a family member or a Pow WoW for the people. Nash loved his Redrum family more than you will ever know. He also loved the bike community whenever they had a run for a great cause. I have never ever thought the bike community would be like a church, but they are, and they give so much of their time and money to helping others. I don’t believe that I will ride but I will do my best to continue to support whatever is happening in the serving and giving as Nash would always do for the community of his brothers and sisters.

Nash and I will always be joined together in spirit and in power no matter what with a sense of peace in my heart that he is with our creator riding those streets

Nash last words. “I don’t plan on leaving this earth without a fight, in the event I lose, no regrets, I’ve enjoyed the ride. I left knowing I was loved, and I loved with all my being. Why do we ride?

As I was pondering what to write about on our recent CMA (Christian Motorcyclists Association) Clovis Chapter monthly ride (this time up to Mariposa, CA last Saturday Feb. 18th), this thought came to my mind: why do we ride? To most of our biking brethren, riding a motorcycle is as second nature as breathing. It really doesn’t matter if it’s freezing cold or burning hot outside, we have the overwhelming desire to just ride and find adventures where we roam. I also believe that most of us ride for fellowship and camaraderie, making wonderful memories that will never fade on our biking adventures that we experience together.

As a Christian biker, I believe that motorcycling is also an awesome avenue that opens evangelistic opportunities for meeting people of all types, sharing our testimonies and forming friendships with those that we meet. Traveling as groups with my fellow biking brothers and sisters that I regularly ride with through local CMA Chapter(s) and my Loma Vista Community Church

riding group, is a very important and satisfying part of my life. It is important that we invite our friends from all walks of life to join us in our riding adventures throughout the months and years ahead.

Whatever our motivation is to ride, we all have a passion for the open road, the wind in our faces, the united roar of rumbling bikes piercing the stillness of the countryside. I absolutely cherish the memories from each adventure we go on, including our recent trip to Mariposa. We had ten bikes with eleven riders, including eight CMA members and three wonderful guests / friends coming along. This past ride was truly about enjoying God’s beautiful mountain countryside and an exercise of iron sharpening iron. This biblical principle was done simply by joining together at a lunch table joking around, sharing life’s stories, and deepening our friendships together. I truly look forward to the next adventure that awaits with my friends old and new as we explore the roads together once again. Come ride with us!

Screaming Demons MC Annual Canned Food Drive

It was a very cold Saturday morning February 25th, when I jumped in my soccer mom van to head over to the Screaming Demons MC Clubhouse. The rain was lightly sprinkling as I was leaving Fresno, but closer I got to Sanger all the rain had stopped. The roads were slick from all the rain, and I was praying on my way there for God to watch over all the Bikers doing the Run.

Folks started coming in at 9 am and kick stands up at 10 am.

It was cool watching all the bikes rolling out. I went on to the Church to catch a video of them coming in for the Pancake breakfast and Bike Blessing. The food was awesome, and the Fellowship was even better. I always enjoy myself when attending any Screaming Demons MC Events. There was about 15-20 motorcycle and a few cars since it was raining in some areas a few decided to drive instead of riding.

I am already looking forward to next years event...
