• 80 Lady bikers rode in from the four corners of California to Central Visalia Saturday & Sunday, February 10 & 11th 2018. Every motorcycle make, model, size & color was on the road as well as the unique ladies riding in from as far as Apple Valley, San Jose, Gilroy, Atascadero, Sacramento, Los Angeles, & Las Vegas, Nevada to name a few. The common denominator these ladies share is the road, the experience & the ride. Some are single parents & heads of households, with responsibilities, so we

understand the sacrifices it takes to keep our machines in good and safe operating condition. The dangers we face in our travels; busy freeways, bad roads, bad drivers and bad weather. With that in mind; the miles on our odometers grow as well as our mutual respect and admiration, our bond and our sisterhood.
On February 9th, 2008 couples & lovers were counting the days before Valentine’s Day, but I was I counting the days since I had laid my husband to rest; seven months & 11 days ago to be exact. Feeling a bit lost, I logged on to Facebook. As expected they had Day. special evening plans with their spouses. It saddens me to think that some ladies don’t have kids or a network as I do. I reached out to my network of lady bikers. After prayer, without hesitation, our club VP, Ruth Padilla, aka, La Apache said, this calls for a long ride. We brainstormed and came up with destination “Harris Ranch” for some wind therapy, I remember we rode there on a Sunday; one week before Valentine’s Daly, intentionally to avoid seeing all the couples. to stay away from all social media on February 14th, in 2008. My tears of grief turned into tears of hope & laughter. We bought each other cheap chocolate roses from the 99-cent store and an expensive but delicious dinner at Harris Ranch. We decided to make this therapeutic success an annual event to share with other women. We made it our clubs mission to see that every lady knows she’s valued, loved and every lady receives a valentine gift at our luncheon. Each year the number of attendees grows. This February 11th we had 80 ladies who attended. After the ride to Harris Ranch, our gala luncheon agenda was filled with uplifting & empowering acknowledgements, as well as a Special Valentine for each lady. “Soft Thunder Riders Motorcycle Club has heart.” We are not just about riding; our members share a passion to help others. Our mission to lift and empower other women is evident at our Annual Ladies’ Valentine Ride to Harris Ranch. Story by, Sherry Chavarria

018 marks the second year of CC Biker & Motorsports publications. Two years of motorcycle runs, Christmas bike and toy drives, charity events and chili cookoffs have filled the time. Meeting great people along the way, it has been our honor to be included in many amazing events that have benefited very deserving families right here in Central California and bikers across the valley continue to show humble generosity every day. CC Biker & Motorsports is proud to represent bikers, racers, 4x4 and everyone interested in the community right here in the Valley. Sierra Shadowcasters MC introduced us to our very first poker run on February 5, 2016 and we couldn’t be more grateful for such an awesome run to start us off. People like Mark Aston, Paul Hall and Steve Schemerhorn created an atmosphere that was fun and inviting while
on an exciting ride through the foothills that culminated with drinks and horse shoes at the Stonehouse Tavern. The following months saw the birth of our Facebook presence that has rapidly grown since its inception on February 14th of that year. Events like the Roadhouse Rumble that hosts a car and bike s h o w every second Saturday of the month between March and October and various other runs with the Pancho Villa Riders MC were instrumental in
our development. A partnership continued support allows this pawith Robinson Team Racing per to thrive and strive for even put CC Biker & Motorsports more and we hope that in return logo out on the racetrack as the you will support all of them as team made its way biker friendly businesses.
