Communities thrive. ignite cda is Coeur d'Alene's Urban Renewal Agency and is the lead public partner for leveraging the potential of public/ private partnerships within CDA's Urban Renewal Districts to achieve Coeur d’Alene’s vision of a diverse, sustainable community with healthy neighborhoods, a vibrant central city, a strong regional economy, sustainable superior public open spaces, and quality jobs and housing for all. One of the most significant recent projects undertaken by ignite cda and the City of Coeur d’Alene is the Atlas Mill Site Waterfront Development along the Spokane River. The Atlas Project created a new public shoreline, park/playground, walking/biking trails, ADA accessible swim area, nonmotorized watercraft launch and a dog park, all with ample parking. In addition, the development will feature single family homes, mixed-use commercial/residential, multi-family housing and an array of condominiums.
