Dear Elk Family; The month of January started out with Sweetheart’s fundraiser on New Year’s Eve. It was a fun night with everyone having a great time. The district Hoop Shoot was held in Plainview on January 17th. Although none of the kids representing Amarillo qualified for state, we are so proud of them. The officers, members & I attended PanWest District meeting in Plainview that same weekend of Hoop Shoot. It was a great weekend. February 12th will be Past Exalted Rulers’ Night. They will be conducting the meeting that

night. We also will be having nominations of officers for the year 2015-2016. If you are interested in running for an office, please mark your calendar and attend the meeting. The second meeting of the month (26th) is when we do initiation of new members. Please come to both meetings and find out what your lodge is doing. February 28th our Sweetheart (Stephanie Phommyvong) will be having a spaghetti dinner. Please come out and support her. All money raised goes to our State Projects (children’s camp, scholarships and grants). We are still selling bricks that will go around the Elk statue. Please see Randy Ingland to
