Spring Cleanup Checklist Whether you’re preparing for a home sale, or just carrying out your annual spring cleaning duties, you don’t want to forget a thing! That’s why we’ve created this ultimate checklist for you, separating it into three parts. This will help break down the monumental task of yardwork into smaller, achievable tasks that you’ll be eager to finish. Let’s begin:

Sorting/Removal Remove any branches or large debris from yard Trim and/or remove overgrown vegetation. Remove dead vegetation. Remove all pet waste Rake fallen leaves and small debris into piles and remove Remove any debris that Winter wind and snow deposited into your eaves Pull any weeds from garden beds Beat out the dirt and debris from outdoor mats and rugs

Cleaning Pressure wash the porch exterior, the driveway, the sidewalk in front of the house, the patio and all paving/stepping stones. Give the siding a wash if it needs Wash off outdoor furniture Clean garden tools Clean out the shed (sweeping the floor, cleaning shelves, removing cobwebs) Clean all outdoor lighting Clean and polish the house numbers

Fixing/Updating Add/Replace soil in graden beds Spread mulch or re-seed grass Re-secure any loose nails or screws in deck. Replace boards as needed Apply new stain or sealant to deck Weed between paving/stepping stones, re-grout as needed Mow, edge and fertilize the yard
