ments of Toccoa’s population. Come out and enjoy the Lake Toccoa Recreational Park today, and watch as it grows in the coming years.
There’s a new park on the horizon, however. The Lake Toccoa Recreational Park, as city officials are calling it, takes the existing facilities at Lake Toccoa and improves upon them in meaningful ways. City-owned and operated, Lake Toccoa is not only the City of Toccoa’s water supply, but the prettiest view in all of Northeast Georgia. Citizens and visitors alike can enjoy the expansive 9-hole golf course at the Links at Lake Toccoa, enjoy a burger and one of dozens of craft beers and regional wines at Ping’s Grill, a fully-restored 1940s-era Army Officer’s Club with a lakeside patio, and book an event at the fully-restored Reflections at Lake Toccoa event center. If you visit Lake Toccoa today, you’ll see that work is being done next to Ping’s Grill. This is the site of a pavilion, to be installed in the coming months. This large pavilion, situated by the lake, will cater perfectly to weddings, birthday parties, concerts, meetings, and more. And in several months, a pier will be constructed also. This pier will allow for fishing and also have paddle boat slips, allowing citizens to enjoy the beautiful lake.
