Lifestyle at Cresswind Twin Lakes
Goodness, we really do enjoy a glorious Fall season here in Georgia. It comes and goes quickly so we try and savor the crisp breeze, cool mornings, and bright leaves that catch the sunlight. Our seasons are less defined now so we might find ourselves with sunny, warm afternoons well into December, before true Winter takes hold. The biggest upside to a short Winter is that it leaves more time for driveway gatherings among neighbors, more Pickleball in the mornings, and extra walk-and-talks to the mail kiosk or community garden. It’s all these little moments that really make Cresswind at Twin Lakes a commUnity with a capital U!
Johnny Gallagher and Nicole Jurovics deliver a large haul of donations from the Teacher Supply Drive to West Jackson Elementary School.
Another flagship characteristic of CTL is the giving back that happens quarterly and sometimes even more frequently throughout the year. Between the LifeSouth blood drives and the Teacher Supply Drive and the annual Toys for Tots collection effort, we recognize and support those in our greater community who need it most. As we look toward the Clubhouse debut, we know we will have recreation, education, and entertainment at our fingertips, but we’ll also be able to serve others with even greater ease. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to these efforts so far, by donating directly or simply by sharing the event information with family and friends.
We’ve been lucky to have some great performers this fall including singer/ventriloquist Michael Minor, comedian Cary Long, and the explosively talented Ray Howard Band. The current and future neighbors know how to show up and celebrate together, that is for sure!
As the seasons remind us, change is constant, but that fact keeps us in the moment, taking notice of all the beauty around us and shared experiences that connect us. Have a wonderful holiday season, reach out to each other, and keep that capital U in commUnity!

October 7th & 8th Entertainment!
Sometimes we decide to throw a great big weekend party at CTL, and on the glorious fall evenings of October 7th and 8th we did just that with back-to-back entertainment. Way to go Cresswind Twin Lakes!
Friday night found nearly 200 current and future homeowners taking in an hour of comedy from Athens, Georgiabased but nationally-touring comedian, Cary Long. The laughs started during a beautiful sunset and ended under a clear, starry sky. Cary delivered a bold set of comedy that our residents could fully relate and even interacted with
the crowd, which is always fun and impressive. The roars of laughter in the air were a joy to hear.
The next night saw nearly 250 attendees turn up to see what the Ray Howard Band was all about. Well, it only took one song for everyone to realize, it’s time to dance! The dance floor remained packed for two straight
hours as the Band delivered song after song of R&B classics and dance hits. This 10-piece band, with three main vocalists and a live horn section was everything and more than expected. At one point, a “love train” of almost 200 were meandering through the tables and chairs, led by one of the lead vocalists! It was a sight to behold!
