Lifestyle at Cresswind Peachtree City

Hello!

Fall is often a time for reflection. As we approach the end of another year, we think back on our top accomplishments, gains, losses, relationships, best memories and toughest lessons. And when, ideally, we come to peace with the past year, we ultimately make space for the inevitable growth and changes the new year will hold. This is a valuable practice as an individual but is also important as a team and Lifestyle is no exception.

The members of the Lifestyle Committee reflect on our best events and most trying experiences. The days that went well and those that didn’t. We identify our biggest supporters and hardest critics – as there is much to learn from both! We analyze, acknowledge and ultimately make space to breathe in the new, like a cool breath of air.

We have learned a lot this year and have done our absolute best to bring you a multifaceted lifestyle in your own backyard! We have made mistakes but did so with the best of intentions and a willingness to learn, grow and be better moving forward. We are proud of the 70+ events we’ve hosted this year and hope one of those events has at least a small place in your own reflections of the year.

As we step ever closer to 2025, every member of Lifestyle is working toward creating even more opportunities for you in the new year. Whether that’s reaching your fitness goals, becoming closer friends with a neighbor, learning a new skill, enjoying a fun experience or simply feeling more engaged with your community, we aim to support each of you as best we can and look forward to what’s in store.

So we invite you to join us in taking time for reflection as we enjoy these last few weeks of 2024 and anticipate the fresh and new as we prepare our hearts and minds for all that is still to come! Cheers!

Knowledgeable and Trustworthy

Its not just trust – you trust your pastor, you trust your doctor, you trust your banker, but that doesn’t mean that you should allow them to give you professional advice about how to sell your home, and what to charge for it or when to accept an o er.

While trust is very important it could be a disaster if it were the sole criteria you would use in choosing someone to help you sell your home.

Trust plus Knowledge is the winning combination that you need to use when choosing your Realtor to help you to sell your home.

Knowledge in Real Estate covers a broad range of topics:

1). Market values where your home is located and in areas (sometimes far away) where you may be moving to.

2). Mortgages and interest rates.

3). Preparation and presentation of your home needed to maximize your pro ts on the sale.

Kay McInroe has earned the trust of thousands of satis ed customers during her 21 years in business. Her international experience quali es her to serve the most sophisticated home owner dealing in homes over a million dollars to starter homes for young couples. Her knowledge is routinely expanded by participation in Real Estate conventions and by serving in leadership roles in various Real Estate and civic organizations.

When you ask Kay to be your Realtor and for her help in selling your home, your can be sure that you will have a Realtor that is both worthy of your trust, and who has in-depth knowledge of the market!

Kay McInroe

Kay was born Kavita Chhabra in India, during a time of racial and religious unrest. She attended college and studied economics. After college she became a fl ight attendant with Pan Am where she met her husband, Bill McInroe who was a pilot. They got married right before he shipped out to serve the US forces in Desert Storm. Later the couple moved to Peachtree City where Bill continued his career with Delta, and Kay became a mom for their two children attending local public schools. During that period Kay began her career as a REALTOR.

Kay’s experience of international life and world travel have enabled her to help buyers from places like England, India, Pakistan, Japan, Germany, The Netherlands, China, Korea, and Croatia to find a home in Georgia.

She tells all of her clients, local or foreign, “we are with you ‘til you feel at home”.

Kay is in the Top 2% Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Globally 2013-2023, and was the 2009 and 2020 Fayette County REALTOR Of The Year.

OUR LIFESTYLE COMMITTEE AT TOWN HALL

InAugust, the Lifestyle Committee hosted their first Town Hall where they shared the business behind the Lifestyle Committee. The night opened with a brief summary of the four components of Lifestyle: Fitness, Relationships, Education and Entertainment, and ended with a reception of sweet treats. In the midst of the one-hour

presentation, Lifestyle discussed many topics including how events were selected to be held, all the details that go into hosting the events, the budget and funding for all Lifestyle components, the relationship with event sponsors and how each homeowner can get involved. One of the top priorities of the committee was being able to share how

homeowners can support the committee moving forward by volunteering and attending events. The evening ended with a Q&A and resulted in many wonderful ideas and suggestions for Lifestyle to implement moving forward. Overall, the Town Hall was a success for both the Lifestyle Committee and the community!

Cresswind Halloween

This year, the annual Cresswind Halloween Party was held on Halloween with a free costume contest and party for homeowners and their fourlegged friends. The party kicked off with a dog costume contest at the Pavilion, judged by Brianne Boyd from Bright Mind Canine. Once the winner was crowned, the party moved inside and included DJ Rick, a candy bar, chili bar, harvest punch and costume contest. Three winners were announced – Norm Crider won Best Overall Costume and Lori and Tim Shoemake won Best Couples Costume. Congratulations to our three winners and thank you to all who joined our spooky fun night!

Best Overall Costume: Norm Crider with Yolanda Crider.
