welcome If ever there was a time to be grateful… 2020 is it. We never knew that 2020 would be the year we would learn to be grateful for small mercies, like the air we breathe.
Did you imagine that when we heard about a virus discovered some 14,450km away, it would be on our rock today? This health crisis is like none we have ever experienced in modern times. Without a doubt, 2020 has proven to be a year of challenges. Our lives have changed; we have been challenged to look at the basics differently. This virus affects all of humanity; therefore we need the best of humanity on display to fight it.
Let’s keep our mind positive, our body healthy and our spirit guided.
This is where our true CBG team spirit comes into play. Here at CBG, resilience and care is deep-rooted in our culture, and this is helping us considerably at this time.
To our teammates on the frontline at the farms, processing plants and other locations, your contributions are beyond measure.
On a personal note, it is important that you find ways to manage the challenges and the anxieties that sometimes accompany it. Remember good health isn’t just about the physical body. The physical, mental and spiritual combines to make us who we are. Here are a few simple ways to begin cultivating a mind-bodyspirit balance: • Keep learning, read often • Get some exercise daily, even 15 minutes • Spend some time outside, get a little sun - Vitamin D immunity boost • Eat more plant-based foods • Sleep
Let’s not drop the ball. We must be diligent and adhere to all the safety protocols in place. We must protect ourselves, our family, our co-workers, our company, our country, and our humanity… our world. Together, we are better; we will get through this; we will look back at this time with pride. The lesson from Covid-19 to us is that we are all in this together.
• Laugh often, play, sing out loud • Forgive yourself and forgive others • Let go of the little things • Always, always look for the blessing; be grateful. “We haffi give thanks like we really supposed to, be thankful!” Koffee, Grammy Award Winner 1
Wishing you and your loved ones continued safety and God’s blessings.

TODAY BE
BIGGA BETTA & BADDA
mentality
THAN YESTERDAY
Every week on Bad Dawg Social Media and Slack we will be sharing some Bad Quotes inspired by the Bad Dawg Mentality of being Bigga, Badda & Betta.
Whatever you are thinking
think bigger! Be Brave. Be Bold. Be YOU tiful.
During COVID, we all had to mentally readjust and realign while navigating to a new normal. On off days from work we all look to different things to cope; some turned to light-hearted TV shows, got lost in a book, while others read scriptures or quotes to keep them motivated.
Be Brave. Take Risks and welcome the unexpected
Reading quotes resembles that first bite of hot bad dawg that just melts in your mouth. It awakens your happiness and sparks a positive mood to motivate, inspire, and encourage you. So, when you need a little push and some fuel to help you take action, read a Bad Dawg Quote.
Today is a perfect day to Live BIG! (I dare you) 3
risks are scary but living within your comfort zone is even scarier. Bold people have more stories to tell.

#PASSIONPIZZA On Sunday September 20, Caribbean Passion enjoyed its first #CookingwithPassion Instagram Live where Chef Haleem Card showed us how to make a homemade Meat Lovers Pizza using all the brand’s products. After all, they make for the perfect pizza toppings because they’re smoked, par-cooked or fully cooked… #SoEasy! At the end, Card kicked off the #PassionPizza Competition where any of our social media followers could try their hand at their very own pizza, and submit their photos for Card to choose 4 winners over 2 weeks. And as of September 22 we brought the competition to YOU! If you missed Card’s tips, we have some for you here and his CP Meat Lovers Recipe can be found in the Recipe Corner. 4

So you have until October 5th to experiment in your kitchen with your own pizza creation for a chance to win a fun goodie bag full of prizes.
TIPS: āā Use room temperature dough, not cold dough āā Skip the rolling pin because it crushes the gas out the dough. So gently stretch the dough using your hands, don’t roll the dough āā Don’t forget to preheat your oven. The oven must be hot before you place your pizza in to bake āā Add just a thin layer of sauce, too much can add excess moisture to the dough and lead to a soft, soggy crust āā Card used dices of cheddar cheese at the bottom because they take longer to melt than shredded mozzarella which was placed on the top of pizza. But have fun with your cheeses! āā Use as many Caribbean Passion products as you want! Chub ham, jerk sausages, chorizo sausages, cooked bacon strips, deli slices, corned pork… āā Use olive oil rather than nonstick cooking spray to grease the sheet pan

S ch o l a r shi p ’ s T op P a r e n ts In this location feature, we highlight the parents at seven locations whose child was a recipient of a CBG High School Scholarship. Each parent that is featured had their child as the top performer from their location. The saying that “Hard work pays off” is true on many accounts in both tangible and intangible ways, and in this case on both sides for the parents and recipients. In this special one-on-one you’ll get insight into just how true that saying came to be for them.
Group Office Alicia Gardner (Parent) Scholarship Recipient & Most Outstanding PEP Performer Award – Amari Brown Q. How did you feel when your child received the Scholarship Award? A. I felt great, a little reminder that he is a part of the best. He worked really hard so I was elated that his hard work paid off. Q. What was your child’s reaction when they found out? A. He is looking forward to the coaching sessions as it will provide him with an array of knowledge which will aid in his development. Q. How helpful will the benefits from this award be for him? A. High School Scholarship Awardees 2020 2020 has been a year like no other. While many events had to be cancelled, including the annual CB Group High School Scholarship Award Ceremony, we believe in the value of education and made it a priority to celebrate the accomplishments of our team members and their children in this past academic year. Since its inception, the CB Group High School Scholarship Programme recognizes employees’ children who have made an impact at their school and within their community. We don’t only recognize the academic accomplishments of these young talents, but celebrate additional areas they have excelled in such as sports, community service, as well as the visual and performing arts. This year, we proudly congratulate the 19 New Scholarship Holders, and 25 Returning Scholarship Holders on their success. Special commendation goes to Amari Brown, son of Alicia Gardner, Group Office, for receiving the Most Outstanding PEP Performer Award having achieved the highest score out of our Scholarship recipients. Check out the photos of all the new entrants! Congratulations!! 14

Introduction Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, our workforce has been relegated into mobility; we have had to completely change the way of work just to ensure that productivity continues. This was no easy task but despite the many challenges, we managed to get it done. This experience has highlighted and taught us two things: • The office is no longer the office; the office can be anywhere at any time. • We (Business & Technology) need to overhaul how we operate in an effort to adjust to this new normal. As a company, we’ve made the decision to move our Microsoft Office experience to the cloud. The Business and Technology Department is pleased to announce that you will soon have access to the Office 365 environment. This powerful productivity, collaboration and meeting platform will provide a superior solution for our organization’s needs moving forward. Regardless of your various work responsibilities, we are certain you will find many opportunities to benefit from using Office 365. It will enable you to save time, increase productivity, and raise your efficiency to a new level. In addition, it will allow our company to achieve significant cost savings by reducing business travel and overhead. 18
What is Office 365? Office 365 is a suite or collection of applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, OneDrive, OneNote, SharePoint and Teams.

āā Security
Benefits of Office 365
ýý Office 365 has many built-in security features to keep our company’s data safe. Two of those features include:
āā Work Anywhere ýý Provides us with the ability to access files anywhere online and offline on any type of device.
ýý Encrypted Email; This keeps anyone other than the intended recipient from reading your email.
āā Collaborate Easily
ýý Mobile Device Management; Allows control of company’s information on mobile devices (laptop/phones). If a device is lost or stolen, the data can be wiped remotely to prevent anyone who should not have access from getting to company data.
ýý Each user will have the ability to schedule, host and share content in their own meeting sessions using Microsoft Teams. ýý Everyone who needs to contribute to or edit a document (whether spreadsheet, presentation or otherwise), can work on the same version and get real-time changes rather than having multiple version floating around that have to be combined. ýý You can also share direct access to your files, rather than send files as attachments. This means people can make changes to one file rather than having multiple copies. ýý Microsoft Teams facilitates video conference calls. All team members have the ability to host or participate within the Microsoft Teams application.

3. Nike Training
It’s not just about maintaining your mental health; your physical health is just as important. Sometimes we forget to expose our bodies to another form of exercise other than our usual walking from place to place or trip up a flight of stairs. Some of us even gave up our fitness regime upon the closures of gyms and fitness centers. Continue your fitness and wellness journey while you stay inside with the Nike Training App. This app provides free workouts, including HIIT, invigorating yoga classes, bodyweight workouts you can do with minimum to no equipment and cardio that gets your heart rate pounding.
4. Grateful
It’s imperative to remember the things you are grateful for. According to researchers, gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity and build strong relationships. This app facilitates an easy and fun way to express gratitude in your life. Grateful gives you the flexibility to make the journal truly yours, no sign ups or logins or third-party integrations; all your data resides only on your device.
5. Last
Ever heard of the 21-90 rule? it takes 21 days to make a habit and 90 days to make it a permanent lifestyle change. We’ve all developed some habits that we’ve been trying to kick to the curve because plainly they’re not good for us. LAST is a tool to help you track how long it’s been since you quit that bad habit. You’re able to see your progress in each tracker chart as well as time stamps. When you feel the need to restart your habit just open LAST and see how far you’ve come and how much you’ve benefited, you can also record your thoughts in each tracker’s digital journal.
Life happens but the absolute best thing we can do for ourselves above all is keep going. We all play such an important role within this company and beyond that. You have one body, take care of it. 21

Caribbean Passion Haleem Card’s CP Meat Lovers Pizza
4 | 70 mins |
30 mins
Ingredients:
Directions:
For the Dough: • 1 cup warm water • 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast • 1 teaspoon white sugar • 3 teaspoons olive oil, divided • 1 teaspoon kosher salt • 2 ½ cups bread flour
1.
Pour warm water into the bowl and mix in yeast and sugar and let dissolve. Add 2 teaspoons olive oil, salt, and bread flour. Knead mixture together until dough is very smooth, soft, and elastic.
2.
Drizzle remaining olive oil over the bottom of a 10x14-inch pizza pan and spread around with your fingers. Place dough in the center; pull and stretch into a roughly rectangular shape with oiled fingers. Cover and let rise until doubled in volume, about 1 hour. Prepare sauce and cheese in the meantime.
3.
Combine marinara sauce, oregano, red pepper flakes, and garlic powder in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Simmer to fully hydrate the oregano and garlic, about 15 minutes.
4.
Preheat the oven to 500 to 550 degrees F (260 to 288 degrees C).
5.
Dice cheese into small cubes.
6.
Rub fingertips with some olive oil from the pan. Press out air from the dough while stretching and pushing into a rectangle that goes all the way to the edges of the pan. Stretch up the sides about ½ inch or so.
7.
Lay most of the sliced sausages, corned pork, ham and bacon onto the dough.
8.
Scatter cheese cubes evenly on top, making sure to fully cover all the edges where dough meets the pan. Arrange remaining sausage slices, basil leaves and olives over the sauce.
9.
Bake in the preheated oven until pizza is somewhere between golden brown and golden black, about 15 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes. Slice and serve.
For the Sauce: • 2 cups tomato sauce of choice • 1 tsp dried oregano • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Toppings: • ½ cup Caribbean Passion Pepperoni, sliced • ½ cup Caribbean Passion Sausage, sliced • ½ cup Caribbean Passion Corned Pork, dices • ½ cup Caribbean Passion Bacon, strips • ½ cup Caribbean Passion Hickory Smoked Ham slices • 1 cup Monterey jack cheese • 1 cup mild cheddar cheese • Olives • Basil leaves
