Do you know where Chizuk Amuno keeps their emergency defibrillators (AED) and portable oxygen unit (O2)?
Make a note:
1. In the Garden Lounge, above the water fountain between the men’s and ladies’ restrooms (AED and O2) 2. In the hallway leading from the KSDS lower school offices to the GECEC office (AED) Our hopes, of course, are that the need to use them will never arise.

Our Daily Bread
Join the Chizuk Amuno team to help serve meals to hungry men, women, and children from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on upcoming Sundays: February 28, March 21, and April 25. To sign up, please contact Wendy Davis at 410/358-5979, bandwdavis@aol. com or Jenny Baker, 410/602-9885, bakerjenny@ yahoo.com. Todah rabbah for the dedicated volunteers who served in December: Ari Abramson, Andrew Bloomfield, Geoff Bloomfield, Wendy Davis, Arlene Klaff, Linda Levy, Ben Manekin, and Sarah Manekin In January, 2,000 pieces of BBQ chicken were prepared for Our Daily Bread. Performing this mitzvah of Maahil Reevim, feeding the hungry, was a high energy event. Thanks to chef Annie Hood and sous chef Karen Kopp for leading us in this second time community service project. Volunteers from all sectors of the congregation formed an assembly line to get the job done in record time. A focused study break took place with Rabbi Wechsler who discussed the spiritual dimensions involved in preparing food for those in need. Rabbi Wechsler also answered questions from the group on kashrut and our policy of bringing kosher food to groups we partner with even if they are not Jewish and therefore not bound by the laws of kashrut. Special thanks to Jenny Baker and Wendy Davis, Our Daily Bread project leaders and to: Ann Andorsky, Kay Beser, Janice Brodsky, Marlene Brager, Ina Caplan, Nathan Caplan, Diane Dansicker, Jay Gamerman, Marsha Gamerman, Joan Gottlieb, Michael Gottlieb, Fran Glushakow Gould, Gilda Kahn, Janice Perlman, Shuli Raffel, Dawn Reznik, Nancy Sall, Sophie Sall, Susan Schreier, Cheryl Snyderman, Marsha Yoffe, Dave Yousem, and Kelly Yousem
