Tuesday, January 11, 7:30 p.m. Dr. Arnold Eisen will reflect upon his personal beliefs as we explore varied meanings of religious faith. Rabbi Shulman will also explore “observance versus celebration.” Chancellor Eisen returns to Chizuk Amuno for the fifth time to speak and meet with our community. Dr. Eisen will reflect upon his personal faith as a major leader at the helm of a religious movement, Conservative Judaism.

In honor of our 140th anniversary, the Chizuk Amuno family will write our first Sefer Torah. During the Opening Ceremony for this year-long event, the largest choir in our congregation’s history will fill the Sanctuary with beautiful music. Following his talk, President Daniels and Rabbi Shulman will converse and entertain questions from the audience. They will address such subjects as Jewish life on campus and the value of your tuition dollars. This program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. 1
