All of our kitchens can be styled in a contemporary manner, but Limehouse is the one that lives for it.
It stands true to our DNA and uses only natural materials as well as traditional making methods, and sleek as it is, the painted finish still carries with it a beautifully tactile nature. Its aesthetic may seem simple, but Limehouse is our most technically advanced kitchen to build.

DESIGN DETAILS
There’s so much more than two or three design details to share with you for each of our collections, but below we’ve picked out just a few of our favourites for Limehouse. The rest you’ll find out when you see them, in person. We wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise...
THE LARDER
This may well be our flagship larder. When you open its door, you find a deep central cupboard area with our adjustable zigzag shelving. Then there’s the rack on the inside of the door that has storage sections at varying heights. It doesn’t stop there. There’s a further oak pull-out rack on the other side that offers even more shelving space, and drawer space beneath with beautiful stone prisms that act as drawer dividers.
CUTLERY INSERTS AND PRISMS
Most of Limehouse’s drawers feature our solid quartz dividing prisms and oak inserts. Together they create a beautiful storage framework, but also the option to move things about, to configure and to organise as you see fit.
TIERED DRAWERS
Not only do tiered drawers look interesting, but they offer more versatile storage. Think pans in the biggest base drawer and cutlery or tableware at the top.
SINK CABINET DRAWER
Yet another clever drawer. Instead of a sink cabinet, Limehouse has a roll-down compartment that keeps cleaning essentials at a convenient height and means nothing can ever get lost at the back.
SPICE STORE
Searching for spices has never been so carefree. Limehouse’s nifty spice drawer presents a multitiered structure in which your collection of fragrant jars can lay.
BREADBOARDS AND TRAYS
Why take up storage space with breadboards and breakfast trays when they can be designed to have their very own space?
THE BRIEF
A modern flat with panoramic views of Bournemouth. Wants a deep colour to compliment the exposed red brick wall. A small-ish statement kitchen. Practical and needs to lend itself to hosting parties. Keep the open plan feel.
THE RESULT
We wanted to utilise the corner of the flat to create an open feel, with the full height cabinets fitted in to the furthest wall from the window so it flows from high to the natural low below the window. We centred the sink directly under the window to make the most of the view, and the L shape of the work surface creates a social space, lending itself to conversation. We chose our AW22 seasonal colour, Constable Green, for the cabinets as it changes slightly over the course of the day depending on the light and matched this with brass hardware and a brass tap for an added special element.

THE BRIEF
A cosy and coastal kitchen, just down the road from the beach. Needs to have room for all the family to be together. Buckland bench to fit around existing Harrogate table. Room for sofa/armchairs with television so can sit together whilst husband cooks. Must have plenty of room for food in larders.
THE RESULT
We worked closely to create a modern kitchen with lots of versatile storage and worktop space. Flooded with natural light from large folding doors and a huge sky lantern, we knew the standard colours, Lily and Fog, would be the perfect choice for this kitchen, especially paired with a lighter work surface. We echoed the chrome hardware throughout the rest of the room, with the tap, pendants, appliances and even the dog bowls! The finished kitchen feels versatile, and there’s lots of room for all the family to be together.

THE BRIEF
A large space for a large family who constantly have people to stay.
The party place and social epicentre of the home. Room for at least five bar stools. Sink on island. Modern feel to fit the custom-built house – something unusual and spectacular.
THE RESULT
We knew the kitchen needed to be built around a huge island, and waterfall edges would be the perfect finishing touch. Our customers wanted their kitchen to be a statement, so we chose our Charcoal paint for the cabinetry which, when paired with a dramatically veined work surface, created a brilliant and stark contrast. When it came to hardware, our customers weren’t keen on the Limehouse Tavener Toggles, but loved the chrome, so we settled on Chichester Mushroom Knobs which work well juxtaposed with the linear design of the kitchen. Behind the hob, we designed the wall to be an entire splashback, right up to the ceiling. It’s the perfect statement, especially around the long, modern window.
