DESIGN DETAILS
There’s so much more than two or three design details to share with you for each of our collections, but below we’ve picked out just a few of our favourites for Suffolk. The rest you’ll find out when you see them, in person. We wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise...
LARDER/BROOM CUPBOARD
This is a cabinet that can be used as a slimline larder, or as a broom cabinet that’ll fit in an ironing board, vacuum and maybe even a mop when the shelves are removed.
BI-FOLD COUNTERTOP
The bi-folding mechanism of these countertop cabinets isn’t simply a nice feature, it means they take up less room when they’re opened out. We also leave the lowermost shelf without a base, so you can use the worktop space for storing and using appliances.
POTBOARD
This slim design is almost like a kitchen’s console table in that it’s unobtrusive and endlessly useful. It can be used on its own or at the end of a kitchen island and works as extra chopping space. Or, as its name suggests, to store a muchloved collection of pots and pans on its timberslatted base shelf.
PRE-LIT CABINETRY
Most of our Suffolk cabinetry has the option of having strips of LED lighting fitted inside so the contents are subtly illuminated and things easier to find. When you use it on glazed countertop cabinets, it also creates a subtle backdrop of atmospheric lighting.
DOUBLE-DOOR LARDER
Every Neptune kitchen collection features at least one larder, but no two are quite the same. Suffolk’s is the only one that comes in two-door form. It’s the very definition of cavernous.
DRAWER ACCESSORIES
All of the drawers in Suffolk come completely empty so that you can choose which accessories you add in to make them as easy and lovely to use as possible, from oak spice rack inserts and quartz dividing prisms to a stainless steel-lined wet store for sponges and scourers.

THE BRIEF
Small but mighty.
There must be room for all the basics, in a room with little space to spare. Wanted their kitchen to be bold, and memorable in their new build home. The phrase ‘expect the unexpected’ was the cornerstone of our consultation.
THE RESULT
Our customers wanted their kitchen to be bold, so we knew our Suffolk collection would be the perfect blank canvas for this project because of its sheer versatility. We were told early on that colour should be embraced, and we knew this would be the perfect opportunity to create the Old Rose kitchen we’d been talking about for a while. Perfectly designed into the small space, this kitchen is endlessly functional and won’t be forgotten anytime soon.

THE BRIEF
A modern kitchen for a flat with a harbour view.
Refined and contemporary design for their Christchurch bolthole re-fresh. Must have a calming atmosphere, and a bar to seat a few people around would be ideal.
THE RESULT
The outcome of this project was a sleek, practical and unfussy kitchen. Painted in neutral Lily and paired with a stainless-steel sink and chrome hardware, it became the relaxing heart of the home. We warmed the design with an oak work surface on the bar and added some oak open shelving on the wall too. It was these touches, echoed by the chopping block and tray cabinet, that tied everything together for the customer. The perfect retreat.

THE BRIEF
The dream kitchen for the dream house.
In the middle of renovating their dream house. Kitchen set to be the heart of the home. Had a few Neptune kitchens before, so knew this one just had to be Suffolk. Needed to suit them for years to come.
THE RESULT
Working closely with our customers, we designed a kitchen that would continue to work well for them as they age. We positioned the oven in a full height housing so it will always be easy to get things in and out and incorporated a lot of drawers, so all the contents are more easily viewed and accessible. The kitchen sink is positioned in front of the window so their pride-and-joy garden can be overlooked whilst doing the washing up. We also made sure there’s room for all the family to sit around the island and socialise in the heart of the home.
