Run to Remember

Volunteering at Run to Remember was a great way to start off the new year! Being placed at the finish line with my fellow Clubbers. I didn't think we'd be of much use. When I saw the accomplished but tired faces of the runners, they graciously accepted our offer of bagels and oranges; I felt useful. We also got free medals! Yay! With that said, I would love to be apart of that again. -Delvin Nurdin

RMH Meal of Love

It was an amazing experience cooking for the Ronald McDonald's house, with lots of friends and extra pasta. During this event we cooked tons of food; pasta, salad, and pizza. I got to mess around with my friends and saw happy faces on the people we served food. I would love to do this event if there was another one and let's make more pizza next time. -Julia Lee

Month of September 2015 Member of the month: Joshua Abeleda Congratulations to Joshua Abeleda for being recognized as Member of the Month for the month of January 2016! These past few weeks, Joshua has demonstrated his dedication to Key Club by attending the various events we had to offer for the month of January. At Campus Beautification, Joshua helped clean up the Marshall High School fellow peers. As you canp.8 see to theand p.6 campus Officer ofwith thehis Month Board right, Mr. Abeleda was volunteering at the Grove’s Run to Remember by passing out oranges to marathon finishers. Lastly, Joshua helped make a delicious meal for the individuals at the LA Ronald McDonald House in late January, and made sure to attend Region 7 Winter Olympics the day after! When Josh isn’t concocting LA style hotdogs as a part of service events, he’s busy managing his junior year schedule, along with bonding with our Key Club Ohana. We appreciate Mr. Abeleda’s activeness with Key Club and can’t wait to see him achieve great successes in the time yet to come. Kudos to you Josh! This past month, Sreymich participated in numerous events in order to better her community and set an excellent example for our members to follow. For the month of January, Sreymich participated in our school campus beautification to help provide a cleaner environment for Marshall students, as well as in our Run to Remember event, at which Sreymich helped cheer on the runners and help distribute food and water! Sreymich finished off January strong by volunteering for the Meal of Love event hosted by the Ronald McDonald House, where she helped prepare food for the less fortunate families and children.

Division 3 South When Sreymich isn’t busy with her Key ClubRegion duties, she 7 is busy leading the Habitat for Humanity club, which also strives to District California – Nevada – Hawaii
