MY WORD
As the rain and snow come down from heaven and stay upon the ground to water the earth, and cause the grain to grow and to produce seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry
always s I send it out and it alway produces fruit. It shall accomplish all I want it to, and prosper everywhere I send it. You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills, the trees of the field – all the world around you – will rejoice. Where once were thorns, fir trees will grow; grow; where briars grew, the myrtle trees will sprout up. After six hours on the cross He gave up the Ghost, Which because of His beatings was shorter than most. Mary watched as they buried the first son of her womb, Who with honor was buried in Joseph's new tomb. Guards were standing by, the tomb to secure, As angels watched over, His safety to ensure. On the third day, from the grave He was resurrected. Then forty days later, to His Father He ascended. Now in heaven, for us, Jesus is praying That some day, we will with Him be joining. Easter will soon be here, and with it will be other displays, displays, some reminding us of Jesus’ sacrifice on a cruel cross, followed by His Divine Resurrection. Resurrection. But in time, even though cherished, those inanimate objects objects also will be put in a special place for future use. Clearly, it it is of the utmost importance that we keep in mind our precious Lord Jesus is much more than just a seasonal decoration! Never has has there been, or ever will be, One One Who Who is as significant and worthy as Jesus, the Christ Child who who grew up to be our Savior, Savior, The Loving Redeemer! HE IS EVER PRESENTPRESENT- HE IS FOR REAL. In Lamentations 3:223:2224 (NKJV), (NKJV), we read "Through the Lord's mercies we are not Lord's consumed, because His because compassions fail not. They are new new every morning: Great is Your faithfulness. faithfulness. ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘Therefore I hope in Him!’” We are privileged to partake of these mercies, and not be consumed. It is a Must that we have faith in Him. Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is -- that hat He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." Page 4

It is March, and the 20th is the first day of spring. Winter will soon just be a memory.

some time, time, the Christmas decorations have been put away. Among them were the the nativity scene scene from our yard - the the replica of wise men, shepherds, Joseph & Mary, and most importantly, Baby Jesus. Those items have graced our yard many times as a reminder of the true meaning of Christmas. Christmas. We now have placed them in the 3

On special occasions, as as we sing or listen to the beautiful Christmas and Easter Easter songs, let us remember that Jesus has fulfilled His purpose on earth as a Baby, Baby, but His death on the Cross and resurrection will forever remain the the Sacrifice for our sins. At this very moment (winter (winter or spring spring), He longs to become a personal Savior, bringing new life, life, joy and peace. Many thought this work of sending the Gospel in English and Spanish for many years would terminate when our father, L.Y. Janes, left this world, but I thank God that the Gospel is still going in English and Spanish Gospel tracts and tracts and periodicals, also correspondence Bible Studies in Spanish, in all of Latin America. It is truly wonderful what the Lord has done, so we thank, praise and adore Him! A favorite scripture with me for many years is John 3:16, “For “For God so loved the world that that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” Page 5

God’s love is so great that the human mind cannot fully comprehend it, but we can enjoy enjoy and be greatly blessed with it. We owe God all of our “time, talent and treasure” and even all this cannot begin to repay God’s love for us, so we truly owe God everything. Let us examine ourselves and sincerely seek to serve and glorify God with all our hearts, so we can be our best for God. We recognize our weakness and failures, but we must faithfully diligently do all possible for the salvation of lost souls who do not know our precious Lord Jesus. I hope you will pray much for us as we continue to to send the Gospel especially into all of Latin America, where they do not have the blessings we have in our country. We just finished our workshops for children ministry workers. We had 20 participants over two days. A brother from the Proevangelization of the Child Alliance presented the workshop and had assistance from some ladies to do practical exercises. We hope to have some new works with children soon. People of all ages came who want to work with children. I was surprised. Most were from Cajamarca and within an hour and a half into the mountains. Three came from Bambamarca, two of whom already work with children under the direction of Pastor Segundo Goicochea. The other from Bambamarca comes from the countryside around Bambamarca and she vowed to work with children, even if she can only find two! Additionally three attended from Chota and three from Lajas.

But from March 16 to 21, La Casita Casita will be occupied with a team from Christian Triumph and Hilltop Bible Church (Clarksville, Ark.) not for respite, but for renovation! The team has three goals for their fivefiveday stay: Repairs and maintenance throughout the Media on Mission facility, which which includes the directors’ home and one other structure; conduct a youth rally on the topic of purity for the city’s youth. Christian Triumph is collaborating in this goal by providing up to 350 copies to distribute free to the youth of the book in Spanish, Spanish, Purity’s Big

Christian Triumph Teams up with Media on Mission to Expand During spring break, we will be powerpower-driving in caravan to the Mexican border at Nogales, Ariz., and then proceeding 60 miles south of the border to Magdalena, Sonora, to team up with Media on Mission. Founded by an American some thirty years ago, this ministry provides Christian movies in Spanish to ministry leaders throughout the SpanishSpanish-speaking world, on request and free of charge, as resources permit. What Christian Triumph does with books and tracts, tracts, this ministry does with movies. Now headed by Jose Luis and Claudia Pestaña, the ministry also has a local program wherein they provide counseling and retreat to ministers throughout Mexico. La Casita, a cottage that sleeps eight, is open to pastors and parachurch leaders who are seeking a respite and recharge. The facility is often also used to conduct encouraging and energizing programming for pastors and ministers in the surrounding area, as well as marriage retreats.
Payoff/Premarital Sex is a Big RipRipoff, a collection of 17 firstfirst-hand stories about the advantages of remaining pure until marriage. The third goal is to launch a Web site for Media on Mission. The ministry has some 30 films with copyrights that permit free copyrights distribution, and each of these films is going to be uploaded to the organization’s Web site and available for people all over the world to download to their personal computers, or burn to DVD from a public computer. Presently Media on Mission relies on wordword-ofof-mouth for new ministers to find them. And their ability to serve them depends on the organization’s resources for purchasing DVDs and postage. With this Web site, they can be found by anyone searching for Spanish, Christian films on the Internet; and 6
the cost to serve them will be negligible, less than $100 a year to maintain a Web site with sufficient storage for their movies! This apt use of technology will literally expand their outreach exponentially at very little cost and effort to maintain. We are also excited to link our Websites so that visitors to each site can learn more about both organizations! We look forward to reporting on this trip in an upcoming Faith Messenger, and ask for your prayers for: protection for the group group of 10, including one child, while they travel to and in Mexico; good health and high energy for high productivity; a good turnout at the youth rally and an anointed message from each of the speakers; a “straight path” for our work, including preventing any preventing technological glitches that could cost valuable time; and for the end result, for the Gospel message to be more widely disseminated throughout the SpanishSpanish-speaking world.
