Letter From LTG-
New year, new me, but service never changes! Hey Sharks! Hopefully your Winter Break ended well and you are enjoying your first week back at school. I know it’s been a while since we’ve been spent time in the classroom, but I know how diligently everyone has been keeping up with service and your efforts are stunning. This is the season for elections! As I mentioned in last month’s newsletter, please begin to consider what role you would like to take next year in serving your community on a higher level. LTG Candidacy Forms have been emailed out- remember you must complete all of them and have them to me by or on the day of the Division Election Conference. DCON is also this semester! Can you believe we are only 104 days away from Texas-Oklahoma’s biggest service celebration? Keep your eye out for some DCON information packages, but if you’re ready to learn more about DCON (which is all of us!) please make sure to check out the DCON spread featured in this edition.
As we go into this new year, please remember that you are constantly making a difference in your community and in the world. Keep up with the hard work, and never change! Yours in service, Christina Lee

Key Leader is a weekend experiential leadership program for today's young leaders. If you attended Key Leader, describe your experience in full detail. What did you learn? What activities did you participate that helped build your experience as a leader? What aspects that you learned from the weekend can you teach your club? How would you use the word “leadership” as a verb? What are your New Year’s resolutions in regards to Key Club? How can you utilize New Year’s resolutions as a way to enhance your club in some aspect? How will your club incorporate the Holiday spirits and festivities into Key Club? What service projects does your club have planned for winter break?
Club Editors: You should be sending your newsletters and articles to be graded to Sophia Tran! Her email is editor@tokeyclub.com, and they are due by the 5th. Have You Updated Your COCI? Q: What is COCI?
A: COCI is the acronym for “Club Officer Contact Information”, which is the place on tokeyclub.com where we can keep up with your officer team!
Q: Why should I update it?
A: Firstly, it gives you points if you record it on your Monthly Report, though this can only be counted once! It also provides us a way to contact you.
Q: How do I update my COCI?
A: Log into your tokeyclub.com account by clicking “Login” at the top right. Your username should be the full name of your high school, but click “Members Only” and scan the list until you see your school name. Copy and paste that into the “Username” blank and then enter your correct password- which, you can reset, only if you have access to the email account in which your school registered with. Once logged in, go to the “Members Only” button and click “Update Club Officers”.
Q: How can I tell if I’ve updated my COCI?
A: You should be able to see the updated information once you log into tokeyclub.com. If you aren’t sure, email me and I can check for you!
Q: What if I can’t access my COCI?
A: Please contact me or our District Administrator (administrator@tokeyclub.com) and we will try to get the problem fixed ASAP.
Q: Are all officer positions on COCI?
A: No, not all officer positions are on COCI- but you must fill out the ones on the site. If you have more than one officer for the same position (for example, you have two secretaries), you only have to fill the appropriate information for one person.
