Verse of the Week:
For as a tender father Has pity on His children here, God in His arms will gather All who are His in childlike fear. He knows how frail our powers, Who but from dust are made. We flourish like the flowers, And even so we fade; The wind but through them passes, And all their bloom is o’er. We wither like the grasses; Our place knows us no more. His grace remains forever, And children’s children yet shall prove That God forsakes them never Who in true fear shall seek His love. In heav’n is fixed His dwelling, His rule is over all; O hosts with might excelling, With praise before Him fall. Praise Him forever reigning, All you who hear His Word— Our life and all sustaining. My soul, O praise the Lord! 820 My Soul, Now Praise Your Maker; Text (sts. 1–4) and Music: Public domain Created by Lutheran Service Builder © 2006 Concordia Publishing House.

Sunday Morning Bible Study "The Joy of Being a Church Member" There is great joy to be found in being a Church Member. But what is a Church Member? Is being a Church Member like being a member of one of the many clubs I already belong to or is it different? Are there membership dues? What am I obligated to do as a Church Member? Let's get together and share, read, and learn some of the answers to the many questions we have. The Bible Study will take place in the Fellowship Hall following a little fellowship time.
New Eagan Pointe Bible Study on Tuesday Morning! The group that meets at Eagan Pointe at 9:00am Tuesday is starting a study of David with the book “A Heart Like His” by Beth Moore. God will never give up on you. Explore how David's life proves this promise to be true. In this examination of the “man after God's own heart,” David will delight and disappoint you. You'll want to be just like him at times and nothing like him at others. If you've ever experienced doubts, temptations, losses, family problems, or personal inconsistencies, this study is for you! Now it a great time to join this group.

They will revisit and celebrate Christ's story: the prophecies which pointed to His coming, His birth, and His life. Come and listen to the other stories within the bigger story: the stories of Zechariah, Mary, Joseph, the Shepherds, aged Simeon, and the Wise Men. A Noel Celebration, in part, tells their stories as we see them reflect on their own place in the unfolding narrative of God's miraculous plan. Stay afterwards for a Christmas Dinner!
