Verse of the Week: Psalm 25:4
Oh, that the Lord would guide my ways To keep His statutes still! Oh, that my God would grant me grace To know and do His will! Order my footsteps by Thy Word And make my heart sincere; Let sin have no dominion, Lord, But keep my conscience clear. Assist my soul, too apt to stray, A stricter watch to keep; And should I e’er forget Thy way, Restore Thy wand’ring sheep. Make me to walk in Thy commands—’Tis a delightful road— Nor let my head or heart or hands Offend against my God. We will be recognizing CLC High School and University graduates during the worship service on Sunday, June 11th.
Key Card Updates: The Board of Trustees is updating the card access system. Several cards have been made inactive. If yours does not work, please contact the church office and give your name and the card number so it can be reactivated if you are still using it. The Trustees are trying to find out who has keys and get them under the correct name. If you have a key card and are no longer using it, please turn in it to the office along with your name. Also, please notify the office if there are cards that have been lost. Thank you for your assistance! (Office: 651-454-4091)
EAGAN MARKET FEST Christ Lutheran Church and Preschool will be participating in the Eagan Market Fest on Wednesday, June 21, from 4 – 8pm. We will be sharing a booth with Kick Start Martial Arts (owned by members Paul and Kellie Sisk). We are looking for volunteers to man the booth. Please see Michele Lukanen to volunteer. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet Eagan residents and spread the Word of God!
CLC Constitution News A new copy of the CLC constitution is available that includes the bylaws changes that were made in January. The revised version has a blue cover with the LCMS cross. We ask that you return or destroy any old copies to avoid any confusion. If you need one sent to you, please call or email the church office (christlutheraneagan@outlook.com ). Meanwhile, the Constitution Committee is hard at work to streamline the structure of CLC and make it more adaptable to the current needs of the church. You will be hearing more in the future!

Summer thoughts from Rhoda (church secretary): My husband Claude loves long-distance hiking. He’s thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail twice (2011 and 2015), and every year since 2011, he’s been able to do some major hiking with some of his buddies. This year they plan to hike on the Pacific Crest Trail for 2 months, beginning June 6. I get to see the incredible pictures he shares of God’s amazing creation, and I’m also involved in dehydrating food and send mail drops along the way. Although I miss Claude (or “Pilgrim,” as he’s known on the trail), I do enjoy the amenities of living at home! Packing light is important for backpackers. You don’t want to carry more than you need because the weight adds up. Claude has packed and repacked for this trip. But one thing he never doubts is Who is going with him. He knows that Jesus is his traveling companion. That makes any load lighter! As many of us travel this summer, or even while we’re at home, let’s not forget that we always have Someone who is with us, Who loves and cares for us, and Who holds our hand through all of life’s joys and difficulties. Prayer, reading God’s Word, and joining your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ in worship is a great way to renew your faith. God bless your summer!

Help hungry kids in Dakota County have the energy and brain power to make their summer count!
Dear Partner of The Open Door, We need your help this summer. The Mobile Lunchbox is taking its biggest swing yet at addressing the summer meal gap in our community, and your group could be the key. While summer break is a welcome break for many, it is also a burden on families who rely on schools for multiple meals each day. Nearly 50% of students in ISD 191, and just over a quarter in ISD 196 depend on free and reduced school lunch for reliable meals during the schools year. Thanks to the support of Giving WoMN and an expanded partnership with ISD 191, this summer The Open Door's Mobile Lunch Box Program will be visiting 5 neighborhoods in Burnsville and Eagan to provide kids with access to fresh, healthy meals all summer long. We need small groups of volunteers to hand out lunches, play games, and help kids pack take home bags of healthy food for the rest of the week. Read below for details on how you can help. Will your church serve at a Mobile Lunch Box site?
The Open Door is seeking local businesses and organizations to support our summer initiative, The Mobile Lunch Box. The Mobile Lunch Box travels to low-income neighborhoods and provides: Free healthy bagged lunches for school-aged children (5-18) that includes sandwiches, fresh whole fruit, vegetables and juice Free volunteer-led activities for children: reading, games, art Free bag of healthy, wholesome foods to take home each week Your team will volunteer at summer lunch sites to serve lunch, engage the kids in enrichment activities, and distribute take home foods. Mobile Lunch Box details: • 2-4 volunteers each week for 9 weeks, starting the 2nd week of June through the 3rd week of August • 2-hour shifts during the lunch hours at the same location each week • The Mobile Lunch Box sites are located in Eagan and Burnsville We look forward to your partnership with The Open Door’s Mobile Lunch Box program! Please call or email me with to discuss your participation and questions. Contact me at 952-220-3420 or at maggiye@theopendoorpantry.org. Thank you!
