THANK YOU to our volunteers and donors who made our Spring Red Cross Blood Drive a success. Our goal was 30 units and we had a total of 35. God’s Blessings to all of you! Mark your calendars for the next drive at CLC on Nov. 9, 2017.

Preschool Envelope Fundraiser Be sure to take one of the envelopes from this box to donate to the preschool fundraiser! All you have to do is pick up one or more, put the money inside corresponding to the number on the outside, and return the envelope any time between now and May 26. You can choose any number or just close your eyes and pick one! This is the preschool's only fundraiser. You don’t have to buy anything or sign up to work. Please consider your part prayerfully and help this important ministry of CLC. Thank you for your continuing support!
WHO IS GRADUATING? We need the names of CLC members who are graduating this year from high school, college, technical or business school. Please send an email (christlutheraneagan@outlook.com) or call the church office with this information by June 1st. We will be recognizing these graduates on Sunday, June 11th.
Christ Lutheran Preschool End-of-Year Program Wednesday, May 24, at 6 pm Followed by a Cookie Reception! Everyone is invited to join us as we celebrate this past school year. Come listen as the children sing songs, receive certificates, and we have a short presentation of pictures from the school year.
Memorial Day Services at Christ Lutheran will be Monday, May 29, at 9:00 am. This is a meaningful time to remember those who served our country and are now with the Lord.
Celebrate Ascension Day! Ascension Day services (Thursday, May 25) will be offered at Redemption Lutheran Church (927 E. Old Shakopee Rd. Bloomington, MN 55420) at 11:00am and 6:30pm. A light lunch will immediately follow the 11:00am service. Email info@RedemptionMN.org for more information.
Christ Lutheran Church and Preschool will be participating in the Eagan Market Fest on Wednesday, June 21, from 4 – 8pm. We will be sharing a booth with Kick Start Martial Arts (owned by members Paul and Kellie Sisk). We are looking for volunteers to man the booth. Please see Michele Lukanen to volunteer. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet Eagan residents and spread the Word of God!

The Lutheran Witness is the flagship magazine of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, The Lutheran Witness is a monthly publication (11 issues per year) that offers Synod news, features, columns, Q&A's, and more. It also includes an insert from the Minnesota South District. You can subscribe through the church office by June 1. Just give the office a call (651-454-4091), send an email (christlutheraneagan@outlook.com ), or drop a note in the offering plate before the end of May. Cost is $19.70, but you will get an invoice; no need to pay now.
Lutheran Night at the Twins! Lutheran Night at the Twins vs. Brewers is August 8th at 7:10 pm. Plan to join other Lutherans as we cheer the Twins to victory. A special treat will be an appearance of "Marty and Katie" if you arrive before 7:00! Get there early! Designate choir members to join the National Anthem Choir (arrive at 6:00 pm at Gate 6). Camp Omega is all about RELATIONSHIP …a place for children, teens, adults, families, congregations, and communities to grow in their relationship to Christ…a place for campers young and old to DISCOVER & REDISCOVER what life in Jesus means.

Annual Work Weekend Friday, May 26th, 2017 Sunday, May 28th Join others in Christ’s fellowship while preparing Camp Omega for the arrival of over 1600 children and adults for our summer camp programming. Entire families are welcome to join in the service, fun, and recreation of a fulfilling service weekend. Camp Omega staff will lead the youth and children in age-appropriate service projects and recreational activities. The weekend kicks off Friday evening and lasts through lunch on Sunday, but join us for any part of the weekend as your schedule allows. http://www.campomega.org/events/annual-work-weekend/
Camp Omega Day Saturday, June 10th, 2017 Join us for this free Open House event for all ages Activities include a 10:00 opening sing-a-long and devotion, free picnic style barbeque, swimming, horse drawn wagon rides, pontoon boat rides, zip lining, archery, canoeing, and a variety of other Camp Staff led activities for the whole family.
