Working with the San Francisco Giants, we are pleased to announce another season of Junior Giants baseball. Come and celebrate our World Series Champions with us as we offer youth a chance to play the game of baseball. This non-competitive, fun only program is offered to both girls and boys that want to learn and play baseball. This program will offer instruction on all aspects of the game. Participants will receive a free Junior Giants T-shirt and baseball cap. There will be a Giants game that we may attend at the end of the season. There are a limited number of tickets available and participants will be chosen by attendance, sportsmanship, and availability. Not everyone is guaranteed to go to the game. This program is FREE! But we do need to charge a $5 processing fee.
Youth Sports
Junior Giants Program
Young America Baseball is an instructional program that focuses on the development of skills for young players through continuous training and practice. Participants will participate in throwing, hitting, fielding, running and game situation drills. All participants will be divided into teams for play and practice for the remainder of the program. Participants will be able to compete with the Junior Giants program in the afternoon in late July. Sportsmanship, team work, and positive peer support will be taught and continuously reinforced. Participants are encouraged to bring snacks, water, wear sunscreen, baseball cleats and comfortable clothing. They may bring their own glove, helmet and bat if they wish, but not it's necessary as we provide that equipment. Boys and Girls are strongly encouraged to sign up. Teen, Men & Women Self-Defense Program Ages 14-Up
It doesn’t matter if you’re older or younger, in shape or out of shape, have old injuries or limitations or think you can or you can’t, this program is for everyone! Come in and learn the first, original mixed martial art! Our philosophy: everyone has limitations, so find out what they are and work around them! You will start off by focusing on increasing your health, physically and internally, while doing it at your own pace. You will learn how to bring your mind and body together as one for inner peace and to help deal with the stress of everyday life whether it’s work, home or school life. You will learn how to defend yourself verbally, mentally and physically in a non-combative environment. Most of all, you will start to feel good about yourself and good about everything around you. Because this mixed martial art is a combination of several arts, you can tailor it to fit your abilities, limitations, wants and needs. If you ever wanted to try martial arts, learn self-defense or increase your physical fitness, this program is for you! At the end of the program, students will be certified and earn their first belt rank pending attendance. Code Day Dates Time Classes Fee 49035 M/W 6/18-8/29* 7:45-8:45 pm 22 $174/ $189
