This issue’s cover image is of the new hydroponic gardens we keep at the Center for Health & Wellbeing. CHWB’s partner in the gardens, the Orlando-based Urban Smart Farms, uses the powerful growing technology of aeroponics to offer a more sustainable way to grow fresh, healthy food. By tapping into the same technology NASA uses, we grow robust, nutrient-rich plants in a cleaner, simpler, and more efficient way.

The produce grown in our hydroponic garden is then used to make the delicious menu items at Nourish Coffee Bar + Kitchen that much healthier, cleaner, and sustainable. Harvested every week, our lettuce and herb plants are used in salads and other items served at Nourish Coffee Bar + Kitchen. The CHWB Hydroponic Garden is made up of 12 towers located next to Studio C on the north side of the Center for Health & Wellbeing.
