Our story so far A FEW WORDS FROM THE MANAGING DIRECTOR The Security industry has been morphing, shifting and evolving into a very different place from what it used to be only a few years ago.

By capitalising on our business agility and developing our people, both on a professional and on a personal scale, we are proud to be recognised as an Industry-leading security company, 53 years on.
CIS has been embracing the future and building a generation of skilled security professionals, advanced technology and knowledgeable operational management for over 50 years.
Success is a matter of focus; people often consider success as an event, but game-changers know that success is not always won in major victories, but often by inches, degrees and hours.

CIS Front of House was established in March 2017. We provide fully-managed Reception and Front of House services and ensure that our clients have a team that is an extension of their brand image. Our FoH teams work closely with the Security team to provide a seamless service for staff, clients and visitors. As the first point of contact, our goal is to ensure that the customer journey is impressive, positive and memorable for all the right reasons. Giving Back Solid financial performance is closely connected to responsible business practice. At CIS we are committed to making business decisions that address ethical, social and environmental concerns. As an organisation, we recognise the significance of investing in the local communities in which we work. London’s Air Ambulance is, unbelievably, completely reliant on charitable donations to operate its life saving service. That’s why CIS Security have chosen to team up as their charity partner.
We support the employability programme with Lewisham College providing mentorship and guidance for those seeking a job. We support the goals of the National Apprenticeship Service’s (NAS) Apprenticeship Programme of increasing apprenticeships across England. As a forward-thinking company providing security services, we understand the unlimited and widespread benefits that inclusion and diversity bring along. Our aim is to increase the percentage of women in security to 20% by the year 2023. A leading advocate for women in Security, Amanda and the whole of CIS team strive to raise awareness and encourage inclusion and create a more heterogeneous community within our industry. Moreover, we affiliate ourselves with the Armed Forces Covenant. Through our HR Department we offer support and expertise to Armed Forces leavers willing to resettle and start a career transition onto the Security industry. Finally, energy-efficient policies are incorporated into our services, premises and operations. Targets are set for progress on environmental aspects such as recycling and incentive schemes are in place for all Head Office employees proposing new ideas to further minimise our environment impact.
