Dear NJRs and JBers of CISV, You have spoken! Eleven amazing people were nominated by JBs from all over the world for the position of International Junior Representative. Nominees were given 15 days to think if they’d accept or decline their nomination, and we are proud to present the candidate that we’ll have this year:
Anjo Peez-Zvetina from CISV Germany. We want to congratulate Anjo for his candidacy, and also thank all the other nominees - we have spoken to the majority of them, and we know for some it was not an easy decision to decline the nomination. As an IJR candidate, Anjo will now get involved in a number of projects in IJB. We encourage you to get to know him and there are several ways in which you can do this: How? Read his JB Pedia page Read his IJR Candidate Questionnaire once released on 5th May. Read his IJB Thinks articles. Talk to him. He is friendly and eager to hear from you. Be creative! In previous elections with one candidate, there have been some concerns about procedure. We encourage everyone to read 0-15A IJR Election Procedures and Terms of Office, and on the following page you will find a clear timeline that explains how things will work from now until the time of elections at IJBC 2013 with one IJR candidate. We ask anyone who has concerns or questions about this process to approach us so we can address them together and clear any doubts. James & Cande IJRs 2012-2013 ijr@cisv.org
