CUB CUB and their liaison Lu have been discussing and working on how to create a better integration between local and international in a way that really makes sense for the JBers, making the “CUB sense of belonging stronger, and also, structuring how to keep the projects for this new neighborhood working and growing. So far, we have some good ideas, especially regarding social media and communication, but we would love to hear your ideas too, so let us now! 05
CUB JB Canada
JB Canada’s NJRs went to Toronto for the mid-winter meeting (that happens every 3 years) and worked on the strategic plan and passed some motions. They’re getting everything ready for the training happening in may. Did you know they have something called JB Joke Fridays? Find out more here: @juniorbrachcanada
JB USA
JB USA just had their winter planning meeting, and it is doing Chapter development weekends and a national mini camp. They’ve been working hard on their social media presence with some great videos from the committees, have you seen them? you can find them on the Highlights of their instagram @njrs_usa
JB Brazil
All the way south, Brazil is back from their summer break and has opened the nomination process for junior NJR. We’re all looking forward to see who will be working with Pau this new term, but Luly sure will be missed. We will know more about this once the elections date and the national meetings start, so make sure you keep up with their updates at @juniorbranchbrasil

CAM JB Guatemala
JB Guatemala started the year with the right foot. Since the year started they have presented their campaign “Let’s make it happen”, elected their first JB Board, had their first ever JB Day (a day full of activities about corruption, some JB essential and autoreflections), and developed new merchandise.
JB Costa Rica JB Costa Rica chose Isa D’Alessandro as their new NJR. They are currently in the process of choosing the new NJB Board, as well as organizing a Mosaic with an LMO that works with local indigenous groups.
JB Honduras
JB Honduras is back on track.Anew board was created, a new NJR was elected (her name is Elizabeth) and old JBers have come to participate with new ideas in order to reactivate JB. Since the year started there has been one training and one minicamp. They were both a total success.

CAM JB México
JB México also elected a new NJR, Diego from Guadalajara. What’s more, the NJRs have restructure the JB Boards and started two national projects: one to promote the development of local projects and the other one is called “Why do we”, a series of videos that explain what JB does in Mexico. Monterrey is working on new activities and merchandise,There’s a mosaic going on in Guadalajara where JBrs go every month to a community to play with the kids, Queretaro held aValentines activity, and Mexico City collected books to donate them to a library.
JB El Salvador
JB El Salvador elected two NJRs! Roto (Senior) and Diego (Junior). Along with the two NJRs of Guatemala they started to plan SIVARGUAT, a workshop developed by this two NAs that works on building a strong relationship between the two jbs for further cooperation. This will happen in May, somewhere in El Salvador.
09
ANDINOS The Andinos NJRs and Steph have been hard at work planning for the neighborhood workshop, which will take place in Colombia before AJBM. They’ve got most of the logistics taken care of and are working on creating some amazing, innovative, and useful activities to be run during the workshop. 10
ANDINOS JB Colombia The Colombian JBs have been electing new committee members in Bogotá and planning for the local mini camp in Medellín.
JB Perú JB Peru had its first national mini camp including both JBs, Lima and Cajamarca. During the mini camp they focused on the content area of the year, conflict and resolution, and furthering their JB.
JB Ecuador
JB Ecuador recently had a meeting where they did some teamwork activities, and like the rest of the neighborhood, have been preparing Andinos participants for the upcoming 10 workshop! 11
PATAGONES The NJRs from Patagones had a meeting with their Liaison Ana Ruth to discuss options and ideas on ways they can work together as a neighbourhood throughout the year.
12
PATAGONES JB Chile JB Chile’s board visited an Organization called Fundación mi parque and are planning on doing a mosaic with them in a near future.
JBArgentina
JB Argentina has had very busy months with different mini camps since november. During their National Camp, where a lot of JBers participated, they challenged JB Chile to do the loudest “everybody dance now” they can do. You can check JB Argentina’s Instagram profile (@juniorbrancharg) to see the video. We are still waiting on JB Chile’s response… 13

CHARLIE (MEX)
MEET OUR FACILITATORS
Hola amigos!!! I’m Charlie and I am from Mexico City! I am 21 years old and super excited for AJBM! I have been in CISV since I went to a Village in 2008 and I’ve been involved in JB since I was 14! Throughout the years, I’ve been part of my local JB Board, an LJR and an NJR for JB Mexico. I am the person I am today, thanks to my years in JB, mostly, so I am very happy to be able to now facilitate this amazing event and continue to learn new things! Can’t wait to meet and work with all of you guys! See you soon!!! 16
PAULA (BRA)
MEET OUR FACILITATORS
My name is Paula, I’m 21 years old and I’m Brazilian. People in CISV usually call me Pau or Paulinha! I’m originally from Londrina chapter, but right now I live in Curitiba, where I study Economics. I’ve been involved in JB since 2012, and throughout the years I’ve been on different positions, such as LJR and LIGA (our JB National Board). Right now I’m the Junior NJR for JB Brasil! All of my experience in JB played a huge role on shaping who I’ve become, so I hope to inspire this growth on other young people too! I’m super excited to meet you all in AJBM! Beijoss

JOSO (ECU)
MEET OUR FACILITATORS
Hey there JBrs! A big -early- welcome to this year’s AJBM from your ecuadorian facilitator! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Diego but everyone in CISV has been calling me Joso ever since my village in 2009. 10 years after my first camp, I have experienced plenty of adventures through my time as Ecuador's NJR, active member of my chapter and participant in many programs; but through it all, AJBMs keep holding a very special place near my heart and I am certain we’ll make this year’s edition one to be remembered. So get up! Get ready! Get inspired! And be ready for what will surely be a phenomenal meeting! See you all in April!
